Thing is I'm currently assembling the left shoe and a part ripped I didn't cut it or anything is there anything you can do ??:( its the tail end of the side part for where the el/GItd material shines threw

You can superglue that stuff back together quite well. It is a polyurethane, so does bond quite well. best to glue together first, rather than glue the wings on later. I made a video about this.

Hey all,
What are the colors from angelus that are good? I remember reading about it, but I lost it in the sea of posts :p

Just thought I'd share :)

I will de-mold tomorrow and hopefully I will have a perfect set of MAGs to replace the hand cut letters on my pair.

Some pics of my steam toe box mod. I'm not yet happy whith it I think I will make a new batch.

I think the best way will be to use a metal form just to the size of the whanted toe box design and with steam and iron press hardely to prevent waves.

On my left shoes a little turquoise paint comme of from the midsole for arrive on my toe box -_-.

I began to work on my right shoes for clean glue marks on the side I try diferent things but the better way I found is the kiwi suede & nubuck brush like this last.

With time and patience I think I win to clean this area.

great work on that steam toe ! :thumbsuphave you looked into the sock toe method like cavx did it a big difference ! it maybe difficult but it's worth it trouble.

About the toe box I stay in steam methode cause I whant wear my mag like my other sneakers, they are already fragile with all the electronic inside and I don't whant take to mutch risk or decrease the life time of the shoes.

About the steam mod I think another pass will be good for try to decrease the crease ^^.

Wow ... I don't know how you made your steam toe mod but you will have a very hard time to fix BIG wrinkles and make the toe box back to stock and slimmer.

I'm on since 2 days now I let the fabric cold slowly before make modification. This evening I make the third pass and I'm near the target ^^.

I asked me about the 9V mod cause I don't know how the 9v battery, the inverter can be put in place of the actual electronic and I'm not fan to the idea to cut the midsole -_-. It will be verry dangerous for it no?

About my power switch I know how I will make, and one of my biggest question is how can I put my new wire ???

In my rechearch about glue I see the loctite plastics bounding system did someone have already try on cavx clearsole?

What are you doing about the texture that will be missing from the surface of the ankle bubble when replacing the letters? I assume there would be gaps in it with the original letters removed.

On the 3 pairs I am currently working on, I have to "re-texture" by making up a small mix of product, letting it go into gel state and apply it when it is tacky and does not run. Both the mid-soles and heel cup have to be done. It is takes time because I can really only do a side at a time and then it is 6+hours (this stuff seems to take longer due to the layer being thin) before I can flip it and do the other side. Then there is front and back to blend it in.

When I did mine, manage to work right around the shoe on all sides.

Sorry for the pic dump, just wanted to share what the insides of the v2s look like. Also found it interesting they covered the original size tag (maybe 8.5) with a size 8.
I have dissected mine but i was originally planning to just change the v2's collar to a slightly better and longer one but I could not find a cloth material/shade match to the v2s. I'm just going to have to make new uppers. With the V2 upper being useless and used only as a reference, these were the most expensive rubber soles I have ever bought.

I have abandoned my v2s about a year ago because of life happening but when I saw cavx's sole awhile back Im hell bent into finishing this.

btw after a year of storage the inner collar leather parts of my v2 mags started to crumble(another reason i wasnt going to save the v2's.. will upload pics if anybody wants to see it.

I think it is great to see everything (warts and all) with these shoes.

I have re-wired my shoes and glued my soles (yes a new pair of the new clears). I also ground off the older hand cut letters and glued on some new parts from the "machined molds". I broke the NIKE glueing in on though, so will have to re-do those soon. I think I got the colour of the MAG (and soon my new splatters) pretty close to the HD video of the screen used prop shoes. My last spaltter that you see on the front shot is much greener than this new colour.

Does anyone know how to mod the mags to have a DC charger like what everyone else is doing I'm making another pair of mags soon and I want to do this mod !

So if I buy Karin Chen's V2s, will the light-up ankle strap be the only additional modification I have to make? (I know the soles also won't stay clear/will yellow over time and the toe isnt accurate, but those doesn't concern me too much)

Are there any sellers that sell the V2s with all the lights installed?

The V2s come with LEDs in the soles, not EL.

You will pay four figures to have a fully modded pair.

Today I work on my mag, I mod my freshely arrive EL strap (I remplact the wire by 6m conductive tape, and finish my prototype tongue.

Now I looking for a solution for keep in place the white ankle bubble in place when I wore the mag without the strap like on the pics. (if someone have idea it will be welcome ^^.)

Next step the tongue, I need prepare my tongue and the moste difficult stitch them on the the shoes -_-.

Just received my V2's and started modifying them. Thanks for all the help everyone. Have a new mod for everyone and wanted to know what you think? I always thought the top white trim that goes around was too big and poofy, so I decided to tighten it up and reshape it a little. I just cut above the seam on the inside and pulled it tight, then glued it back down with super glue. The one side is not done completely as I want to run the new button which will be easy now that it is open.
