Woooooo you beauty!! Ok for anyone wanting more peace of mind, my V2s arrived today from Karin Chen from Ali Express, which I had never used ( I'm an ebayer! ) and they are in perfect condition!! Order took around 17 days from go to whoa, and I must say I'm very happy!!!! However......I find the HC is WAY more comfortable to wear, the soles feel very rigid in these and it feels like heel cup may dig in at times. The only other gripe compared to the HCs is it's hard to switch lights on and off as there's no play whatsoever in the cord so button is always under strap cup, whereas on my HCs there's enough to juuuuust leave the button out a teeny bit so I can easily get to them! Plus sides it really does look like a much better shoe, soles aren't yellow, and all the other features that everyone already knows!! So again, if your thinking of using Karin Chen, here's another happy satisfied customer to vouch for her!!

Even though you don't have soles on, can you take a shot of your shoes from this angle please? I want to see how much better it looks without the bulbous toe box.

I'm getting some Friday HC is sending me some b/c it was supposed to replace these pair b/c the something when werid with the right shoe (the same electronic problems everyone) I gonna put this out for everyone if your having troubles with the right shoe (such as turning them on wearing them and then they turn off for no reason) to fix it basically remove take it apart and reattach some wires (it's like a 5 pin with a connector )make sure it's secure I use heat shrink.(I did the toe box mod when fixing this)

I don't have HC shoes. The image came from a Google search.
I think the toe slim should be done in the HC mags don't you ?everyone's mostly going for the steam method which is ok but it isn't slim enough for me I did do the steam method before the toe slim you see above and it's a huge difference!

All of my parts have started to arrive! I'll probably be asking a few questions over the next few days as I start to get the final preparations ready for my project. Sorry if some of my questions have been asked, I tried to avoid anything I specifically remember being covered earlier in the thread but some stuff I can't remember or seem to find. Is there anyone who has a video or pictures of how you place the button in the white collar area? I know jedifyfe had some but I can't see his photos.

I have created an interest thread under project runs for a full complete EL lighting upgrade kit.
If anyone is interested, you can put your name on there.
This will be a fully Electroluminescent setup.
The only other things needed would be some Battery clips, batteries and an on/off switch button.

For those without EL straps at this moment, and for those who want to use stickers for the outline, I have traced the NIKE letters based on a close up image of the strap. The file is a PNG, so you can print it on translucent sticker paper and paste it onto your EL sheet. In addition, I have provided extra black space around the letters to prevent light from escaping through the sides. Here you go:

its the tail end of the side part for where the el/GItd material shines threw
