ooooooooooo sounds promising i wonder if you could do a clear sole for V1's..... I havent even got round to trying replacing the sole with pyramid mat on mine though lol

The idea of this project is to make a more accurate mid-sole, where I would build up the toe, grind down the heel etc. Lots of work though.

I have been looking at the diagrams of how to wire everything together. Is there a chance someone can post photos of the wires and how you split connections and where what wires go to where. Also any tips on the use of wire glue?

Either buy those Y connectors or hard wire them in when you solder. I don't think wire glue is ideal for the joints here.

I was going to use Wire glue for the strap EL and wire tape. Any chance on uploading photos of the wire set up from the inside? looking for real photos or video of all the wires and the placement

Ok, here's a V1 vs V2. I tried to post this before but Firefox crashed, hope it doesn't double up the post. My favorites are the black/white/yellow V1's. I can't currently get to my repainted V1's where I repainted the upper and the midsole the same colour as what I did to the V2 midsole.

Does anyone know how to move the the power switch and do I have to extend the wires to the top for it to work I want my mags to have the power button like the RD's

You can't use the original switch because it is not an ON/OFF switch. You will have to seek out a new switch. You will have to unpick the stitching on the base of the cuff.

Yes, very well used. "its not the years, its the mileage" They are covered in ground rubber dust. They will come up better once cleaned.

I want to see someone attempt a steam toe slim on the V1s. I think it would work to lose the boot toe.

Are the V1s 10 and the V2 9.5?

the black V1's are 10, the silver V1's are 9.5's.
You can see the black ones are a more of a match size wise with the V2's, as they run slightly large.
(they didn't have any 10 of the silver left when I ordered them, and they are very slightly tight) I put a triangle of foam on the "ankle bubble" of the silver ones because I got a pair with both the "ankle bubble" being for the right shoe, so on the left, it was on the inside and looked really weird so I just covered the things both sides with some foam.
The V2's are 9.5's.
Maybe when the black ones get a bit more worn out I might try the steam toe on them. I use those the most.

Somes test of long leather tongue siffness, stitching (on the back) and Xalto cut on leather (the mag add)



The color is not the final I need make some try with my angelus white for have the final white on it.

The material is realy soft inside and outside I think it will be realy pleasant to wear my future mag with this new tongue.

I am looking from replacement straps for V2's (I cut mine off when swapping for light up replacements) either some stock straps which were unglued (and not cut) or a full set of straps/white ankle protector. Anyone got some up for sale?

Tried to do the toe slim on my right shoe of my HC mags and fixed the light problems everyone's been having ! I tried too match it the the left shoe i think I did ok I think there's always improvement !
