I am really impressed at how clean your parts have come out. They're so perfect looking. Is that the yellow sole from my 11?
Great work as always, Cavx.
Update:
Well guys, I figured out the LED wires and resistors.... Safe to say after just a few days I am very happy with how my MOD has turned out.
I've done everything except the toe slim. I'll probably do that, but am a little concerned. My foot is an 11, I have a size 10, and the shoe fits perfectly. I'm concerned that if I to slim it, they will be so tight on my toes, and even have my toes poking out. We'll see.
I've never done anything like this before. I've seen my dad solder about 15 years ago, and I have no idea how all the electronics work. So anyone that comes after me, it not that bad. Just follow @jedifyfe and @cavx tutorials, and you'll be solid.
A cheat sheet for those that can't/wont read the whole feed:
18 guage wire.
wire tape
3mm 3v LEDs
220ohm 1/4 watt at 5% resistors
use WIRE GLUE on anything that deals with the EL sheet connections... I f'd up one soldering it cuz I was on a roll.
Not sure if this happens to anyone elses, but as my battery dies the green LED dies, then the yellow, then the red... then all the lights.. I wish they all stayed lit, but its kinda cool because it's a real time battery level.
Thanks to all those before me! I'm too stoked.

I've found the Angelus light grey to still be too dark and had to mix it with white to get a light enough tone. Can't comment on the durability for them to be worn though as mine aren't finished yet.
Congrats on doing an awesome job! Nice to see a new person in this thread putting in the full effort.
My LEDs do the same thing with the sequence of them fading out. Pretty cool how it does that without us trying to do it on purpose, huh?
- Showing you how to do a steam toe mod without any wrinkles and looks like slim toe mod for people that don't want to do it.
The full directors cut. Then i'll youtube it
Do you guys want to see the process from A to Z or just a short version ?
