What's your thought cavx and Vormz, should i get markpoon's or make my own ?
I have to say that Jedifyfe's wiretape tutorial to me is just PERFECT, i'm a total noob in wiring, electronic and all but it doesn't seem "impossible" to do too.

Part of what makes modding these shoes fun is DIY. I would have a go at this yourself and if it doesn't quite work out how you planned, then look at a kit from someone like MP.

Yep. Too much silicone required to do that at this time.

The US9.5 masters are ready for molding.

I ran across a product tonight called rubberbond by parasol. It is a rubber dye that they claim is abrasion resistant, won't crack flake or peel and is uv stable. Sounds promising, anyone ever heard of it or used it? I sent them an email asking how well they thought it would work on the soles of a shoe. Oh and they can do custom colors also.

The new sets under development are US8 and US9.5.

I am hoping that the US8 and US8.5 use the same size outersole just like US12 and US13 appear to do. I am hoping that the US10 and 11 also use the same part.

I think that is the case for the 8/8.5. I can't check the 10/11 as I don't have a 10 to check against. Here's a pic that shows the 8/8.5. The 8 is on the top. (note the crappy strap they came with)

Ok ...

I received my black V2 MAGs and i have to say that i'm more than "BEEP" mad at the seller

Both shoes light are out or order, straps are unsticked from velcro, size is 10 instead of 9.5.




I asked for a 50% refund we'll see how it goes.

The size 10 doesn't seem to be so much bigger than normal sizes i compared to my daily addidas pair, i have the same space between my toes and the end of the toe box.

Well to be honest with you, if i get the 50% discount i'll try to fix all this stuff myself.
Hardest part will be probably to find a vinyl dealer that sell the same kind of vinyl like the straps.
I'll get an Angelus flat white paint to repaint the heelcup logo because i'm going to remove all that crap.

I just contacted a pro shoes customiser and he warned me about the midsoles with the fact that they're soft, and to not put acetone to it because the midsoles will drink acetone and it will ruin it over the time.

My luck is that my mags are black and i am going to dye it black, so i will just have to use the Angelus Blue Foam, dye it black and he really did insist on me to take "suede dye" not the normal dye, make my splatter.

He warned me that all angelus paints will crack over the time and only dyes stay perfect, so paints will only be good for display pairs.

WOW they rushed that out the door. If you do get your discount, that will be good.

The strap can be glued back together.
The NIKE logo gets cut out anyway when you upgrade these to EL.
If you are re-painting, then there is not much to worry about the nasty (you can't really call these splatters) streaks.

My only worry @cavx is the one of the strap logo is really compared to the second one that's what's worrying me.

I'm a total noob dumb i only paid attention to the size on the upper side of the box but my shoes are 9.5 ! :facepalm

So cavx whenever you can i'll need the neon yellow clear soles !

Sinon, pourquoi tu veux changer le strap? C'est une très bonne base pour la modification, non?

Ok, autant pour moi, j'avais pas vu qu'il était pas du tout centré... Abusé!
Demande lui une autre paire de straps

Je vois déjà si il est open à rembourser la moitié du prix, si c'est le cas, ca me rembourse quasi mes frais d'upgrade, si il rechigne il me les change direct mais bon avec le temps perdu et les frais d'envoi, ca lui reviendra moins cher. :x

Edit : no discount or strap change possible with this seller i'm going to have to send back my pair ... -_-

If it were me, I'd repair these first. I don't know, something does not sound right about you having to send the shoes back first.

The GITD logo of offset, but that does not mean anything as you cut out the whole recessed part anyway.

How did everyone go about making the little holes for the leds to stick through. Having some trouble I don't have a drill bit that thin. Been trying to hammer a small nail through each hole but it's becoming a bit of a pain
