Chuck, when I made the parts originally, they were molded off a modded US13. I have these same soles on my US9.5. It is wide and the width is good to walk on. Some have cut out rows of pyramids to make them slimmer, that is up to you.

There may be some dirt, but the soles especially turn yellow - I made the mistake of letting mine dry in the sun after cleaning them every time which made them yellow even faster. I have repainted my midsoles and replaced the clear outsole with Cavx clear soles and now they only see the sun when I'm wearing them, lol.

Good thing my shoes are the the hands of the great cavx, when we were removing the soles yesterday I was wondering if I could repaint them. Cavx reckoned the paint would crack but I know of paint that flexes

ADUBZ I will have to show you the thin Grey I have on my US8 pair. I can't scrape it off and it will never crack. Paint works but you really need to prep the surface first.

When the rubber cures exposed to air, it does seem to gloss. You can always matt it by using a fine wet and dry to take the shine off.

cavx I just ordered black v2s in 9.5 because Jedifyfe made me fall in love with his custom black pair !

Will you can just let me know when you will have a sole run, if possible i would need it to be the same color as the nike footwear logo on the bag ?

DragonGalvy what kind of paint did you use for the midsoles? currently I have angelus direct shoe paint, haven't painted them yet until I get some clear soles from CavX.

Hello everyone, i am new to this, i have attempted to mod shoes before with horrible results. I was wondering if anyone can do my el mods for me? I got the toe box covered i and just not confident enough to do the rest.

What method did you use for the toe?

What part of the EL are you having issues with?

If you have done that toe slim (which I think requires more skill than the sock toe I just did), then you won't have a problem with opening the back of the shoe to get your old wires out and the new wires in.

EL is pretty straight forward as there is no polarity. Whilst the inverter only works with the positive to the positive, the EL sheet does not care which way the wires are attached. Just don't touch the sheet (especially the edges) whilst they are energized.

There is also a real sense of accomplishment when you do this and get it working. We are a group of enthusiasts with a real love of these shoes, so all here to assist if you need help. You should have a go and prove to yourself that you can do this.

And just for everyone's information, whilst liquid superglue leaves a dark patch on the cloth of your MAGs (should you spill some), it appears that Tarzan's Grip dries clear and leaves next to no stain!

It is a damn strong bond too. I've just checked out the bond after 24 hours set up time and I am impressed that $3.50 for 30ml, it works this good.

Awesome, i'm aiming for a certain color and i wanted to know if it's possible to get this particular yellow/green wich is : R 218 V 243 B 4



Wich appears to be the closest color of the Mag's bag logo i could get.

I think it's more like a neon yellow. I have some vinyl I can cut in this color.

You're totally right Vormz i was looking for the name of this color.

Depending of the kind of vynil and how thick it is, it could be more than usefull.

I spotted some EL panel that seems to look to be nearly a perfect match on aliexpress only thing is that it's too small for the el soles.

What you sill find with red, white and yellow EL is that it is NOT bright. The white is the brightest of the three and that's why I used it in my yellow and red soles. The strap will be slightly dimmer because you would have to use yellow on your shoes.
