Something about unavailable escrow services. Here's the message that pops up: "We are sorry, but due to legal restrictions, AliExpress is unable to provide escrow services to residents located in Washington State."

I was in the same boat as you man. Thankfully I had family that lived in New York who I was able to ship them to, then have them ship them to me.

Hopefully you find a similar way, or something!

Thought I'd share my strap logo design for anyone that is interested. The Photoshop file has the N and I as separate layers so you can move them over to fill in any space differential you may have made from cutting out the v2 strap's logo. I print the logo on regular paper to see how they look under my cutout strap and then adjust from there. It's high res, so as it sits now, printing it at 24% fills in my space like the RD's. If you'd prefer a more defined border around the logo, print at 22.5%.

Oh, and I left in the original logo that I developed from and just made it a hidden layer if you wanted to see a side by side.

Awesome work! This is just what I needed too. I just purchased a laser printer and am just waiting for the clear paper to arrive to print on.

This definitely helps out a lot. Thanks again for providing this file for us. :) Much appreciated!!

I received a random phone call on my cell phone today and normally I don't pick up if I don't recognize the number, but I decided to answer. Turns out it happened to be my postman calling to tell me he had a package for me. Although my delivery wasn't scheduled until after 4:30 pm today, he asked if I could drive down a few blocks and meet him at his postal jeep to pick up my package earlier. (He knows I collect stuff and we had a whole conversation on my Mattel Hoverboard when that came out.)

I had a feeling they could be the Mags but wasn't entirely sure. The tracking from Aliexpress said they just cleared customs today in San Francisco, but I live in Los Angeles. When I got the package, it was the Mags. I'm so happy to receive these over the weekend. Let the modding begin!

I decided to snap some quick photography of my virgin pair.

These are 9.5's that I ended up settling for from Jason Lin since he didn't have size 8.5's. And after learning that these run too big, I ended up buying a second pair from China Koko (size 8) which will be my true size. I'll use these 9.5's as "practice fodder" to get experience with learning/making mistakes on mods. The size 8's will be the ones I will wear in public.

After I fully mod these, I can't wait to experience that feeling out in public that you guys encounter when wearing these!

Yay! I'm glad!
I wasn't satisfied with the few strap logos I had found since I'm OCD. I figured since I put so much time into it, I could save others the trouble if they wanted to adjust the logo easily. I used the Avery brand "Clear Full Sheet Label" from OfficeMax and tested my printouts on translucent vellum paper since it's relatively cheap.

Here's an image of what the difference is print size makes

The top strap logo was printed at 24% and the bottom at 22.5%. I went with the RD look at 24%.

They both look fantastic! How much was the cost of the Avery brand "Clear Full Sheet Label" from OfficeMax? Do you have the Item #?

I think it's safe to say I'm officially committed to this project now. (My can of 3M Super 77 and Avery clear sheets failed to make this group picture.) lol

Has anyone experienced sole splitting on their V2 MAGs? This morning I noticed a spilt in the grey rubber right behind the front clear insert. It has split along the seam and is wide enough to see both the honeycomb of the midsole and the pink card of the innersole. Shoe Goo here we go again :wacko

Nope and I wore the heck out of my size 11's.

Just got sent a link to this (Aussie product?) that might be the perfect path to making clear outrigger soles.

PLASTIMAKE

I have made contact with a few questions about using it for molding purposes. It will be interesting to see what they come back with.
