I just started my new custom MAG's. I'm going to be making the FOOTWEAR MAG's

I started with the toe slim on the "elite" MAGs:

What they will look like:

I know you are a fan of the loctite just worried it will separate under wear and tear since I plan to wear these once finished

I don't think loctite will fail if you get the right one. There are several 'water thin" versions and about 20 years ago I used a black version to re-stick the cloth surround on a JBL speaker cone. I didn't want the parameters of the driver to change, so this had to be light weight, flexible and durable as the cone was moving for hours at a time. I used those speakers (played them extremely loud 105dB per channel at times) for years and they never came apart. I only replaced them when I decided to move up to larger cones as they were just 4" and I now use 6.5" for my mids.

... I also have infinity cement to put the show back together I know you are a fan of the loctite just worried it will separate under wear and tear since I plan to wear these once finished ...thanks again Brad

I have worn my size 11's for many many hours without any issues. Not only do I used Loctite liquid glue but also the fabric and vinyl Loctite to finish it off. That not gives it a finished look but an extra strong bond. My soles and uppers are never coming unglued.

so do you think I should use the infinity cement or the loctite ...I used the cement for the LED mod seem to work pretty ok...cures completely after 24hrs

i posted up a video on youtube of another replica i did, so you can see from all angles.

They look great man!

thanks
that z board vid looks awesome with your mags and jacket. the black one should be ultra cool when done.
are you going to spray paint the soles on them?
if you do, could you find out which type of paint works best to stick to the rubber they've used on these replicas?

i have a pair which im tempted to spray paint, but not sure until i can figure out the best type of paint to use which won't crack very easily.

Well I *tried* to make a tee... regular fabric paint does not look good on dark fabrics unless there's like 8 layers lol :facepalm

Well after my Yahoo! account closed suddenly, all of my old Flickr images became inaccessible. Here are some new pics of my first successful pair. This is what they look like after their first real night of use. They held up pretty well considering the stress I had put on them. Long story short, I went to a club and needless to say they were a smash hit! People were taking my picture left and right, asking all sorts of questions about them. Since I am already working on a newer improved pair, I guess I'll be selling these. Here's where they are listed: http://www.ebay.com/itm/131028816560

Why won't they ship to WA? I ordered a 2nd pair from China Koko, and the payment processed a few days ago and it's just awaiting shipping. I live in Los Angeles, CA and so far it looks like it's going to go. Still waiting for my 1st pair from Jason Lin which has trackable information finally.

Something about unavailable escrow services. Here's the message that pops up: "We are sorry, but due to legal restrictions, AliExpress is unable to provide escrow services to residents located in Washington State."
