I would LOVE a black T with yellow FOOTWEAR on it!!!

It would go perfect with my next MAG custom shoe I plan to do:

Slightly OT. I took the kids to see the new polar bear cub at Sea World and whilst standing in line, noticed the lady in front had a pair black cloth NIKE shoes that were high. The looked similar to that recent Jordan release that was based on the MAG pattern and from what I could see, these had no visible laces or zips. They were like a big slip on and pretty neat looking. Unlike the Jordans, these has a light grey cuff and SWOOSH. The toe was not "clean" though.

First toe mod done, I guess it came out okay being it my first one. Thanks to the modfather himself Jedifyfe for youtube tutorial.

next stop, EL sheets and straps.

Looks great! I've noticed on all the pairs that I have done, that it's VERY difficult to make both shoes look identical to each other. I look forward to seeing more of your conversion!

yea one shoe at a time. Its a crazy amount of work and patience just removing the stock electronics and the glue. I dont look forward to doing right pair just yet lol

Jedifyfe: is it possble to send me the template you use for the bottom el?

is there a technique to cut the EL sheet without ruining the cut edge? the laminate slighty got unglued and that area doesn't illuminate.

Yes, put a shirt or cloth over the el sheet and use an iron set on low heat/cotton to go over the area. Just for a few seconds each pass, then check. Repeat. That should repair about 95%-98% of the area.

When cutting curves, it's probably going to need to be ironed back down.

yea the curve is where I screwed up, hopefully it can be salvaged with the iron. Thanks djjeremy for your reply

I'd love to see these done with the footwear logo printed properly.

Does anyone have the actual font for the FOOTWEAR? :confused

I customized the text on my tube bag and whilst it looks good, I know it is not correct. And the NIKE logo is too big :rolleyes
