I had these lying around and I'm wondering if I could use them at replacement buttons when I get my own pair of V2s.

They're a tiny bit bigger than 1 cm.

If you get a pair that doesn't have enough splatter on the mid soles, is there anything you can do about it? Is there any paint that won't come off with normal wearing?

2 cents Depends on the type of paint (both primer and top coat) you use.

Just finished buying the last of all the mod items needed for conversion. Boy oh boy does it add up. But i did scour for good deals of course. I got really nice canon camera i want to use for the pictures. Hope to honor taff83 and Jedifyfe with my conversion. Im going by all the info you guys provided here and elsewhere. Youve given me pretty big shoes to fill!

You gotta make sure thats not a momentary switch.

Mine took about 4 business days to get from China to Indianapolis.

if they are click on click off, then they will be ok

if you press the button and it doesn't stay pressed, it means its momentary and therefore no good to use.

the one on the v2 looks the same, when you press it, it doesn't stay pressed, its simply a momentary one.

so if you are using the ps3 controller batterys what kind of charger do you need? can you just take like a nyko dual ps3 controller and charge the batterys straight from that ? or like usb? i dont believe there is a charging circuit on the board i believe power goes straight from the usb to the battery ... so can it take straight 5v or anything?

for those that have a 9v battery and 9v inverter setup,can you post up a picture of your battery and inverter inside the shoe sole?

how have you laid the pieces out in the existing hole?

I know this seller has a pretty good reputation, but I can't help but be a little skeptical after reading so many horror stories over the last several months. I guess I can extend the shiptime (a button on Ali to keep the order from getting cancelled after 4 days), but I'm worried the "4-6 days" will turn into weeks. And then I'll have to do a dispute with my CC company. Hopefully it won't come to that.

Anyone else in the same boat? Did they make good with you?

I've quickly put together a diagram of the 9 Volt Conversion to help assist me with my V2 Mags. Please let me know if there's anything I should change about this setup! Look forward to y'alls input!

I understand. The only thing is that on the LED's, since the LED's will be soldered together, there isn't a need for 3 seperate wires going to each row. Just one Negative and one Positive wire. Does that make sense?

Yes! I do recall your soldering layout. I made it that way in the diagram only to show the 3 resistors needed behind the styrene board.

Is there a switch that is smaller than the ones Jedifyfe is using? Being able to see the button bothers me. If not, there should be a way to get the button between the stuffing in the white part so it's not protruding.

I ordered a pair this morning and got the same message from them. I suspect they are really short on stock because so many people just ordered at the same time? Jedifyfe's recommendation carries weight.

I told them that if it was going to take more than 5 days, to let me know immediately. They did reply with a "Yes, will do"..

I guess all we can do is wait..
