Has anyone else noticed little glue dots on theirs? I have been converting several pairs and I thought I have dropped glue on these but I checked a pair of untouched/unconverted pairs and found the same issues. I never noticed it before. They are only noticeable upclose:

LOL! I just hadn't looked that close before. I've been focused on the look of the shoe and not the smallest of imperfections. Now I am... :unsure

haha, I think there will be always imperfections on these kind of shoes.... ^^'Even $250 is not worth it for those^^

It's ok, it's ok,..there there. Again, they are not noticeable unless you get uplcose and inspect. I just thought it was something I had done. But I looked at my pair that was completely untouched and found several dots...

haha, I appreciate your comforting words! But to be honest, this doesn't bother me at all. I've wanted these for years and a few tiny glue dots wont affect that! :cool

Especially if you plan on wearing these. They get dirty no matter what....

Exactly. Wear them to a club here I guarantee someone accidentally stands on them or spills their drink. I can only imagine the fun of getting a red wine stain out :thumbsdown

Hey guys. Finally got some stuff in the mail. So I almost have 1 shoe complete. Finishing the wiring and charging stuff then I'll post more (normal sized) pics.

Ordered two ps3 controller batteries.

Still gotta figure out about the charger type deal, and how to wire it to the nike strap

Guys, here's the Nike logos professionally printed onto black vinyl just like markpoon did:

The image has been cleaned up so it lines up better and is a complete peel and stick solution. Even if you don't put EL for the Nike logo, this is an excellent mod to put on the V2 strap with not much work at all.

It gives the front a less cheesy look without the glow in the dark painted logo and looks more like the RDs :thumbsup

I dont know if this was covered already on here. But had an idea to dye the sole icy blue like the RD mags that nike released for an even more authentic look.

Cause the reps look like they are more yellowish than icy blue. There are some guys on youtube that do this to their jordans.

Yea I am surprise nobody thought about doing that. That was the first thing i thought about doing even before I got here and got addicted to all the other mods lol.

I wonder how hard it would be to take out the yellowish soles from the shoe with a hair dryer or something. Cause if it comes off separately then someone can just let the soles soak for a little bit. Much easier and consistent than brushing it on. Just dont know if we can peel off the sole yet cause dont have my shoes yet.
