I dont know if this was covered already on here. But had an idea to dye the sole icy blue like the RD mags that nike released for an even more authentic look.

Cause the reps look like they are more yellowish than icy blue. There are some guys on youtube that do this to their jordans.

HELLO has all!
Small question concerning the charger of the mag v2:
Normally the charger is good to reload a battery 3,6V lithium, thus no problem to recharge battery also 3,7v of ps3 1800 mah?
I also plan to put male jack on thread charger and jack female on buckle of the mag, but I have a doubt.
In the plastic case of origin of the mag v2, what is what a connoisseur can know if there is a controller of load lithium?
I block little on this thing, while I finished soon my mag, so I would put photos of my work.

The clear sole is glued onto the grey rubber. I don't own the V2 shoes but the solid colour soles of the V1 MAG came off very easy with my finger nail and hot air. I used a heat gun and once they begin to lift, they just peel right off. I then used Shoe Goo to attache my clear soles.

I'll have to look for RIT dye here as I have not seen it before, but I also have a proper pigment that I bought for the cold cast clear elastomer and I am betting I can dye or tint a whole tube of Shoe Goo with it when I do another clear sole test run.

I don't live in the US, so we may not have the same things on our shelves like you guys do. When I visited the US in 2010, I was gob smacked that liquor could be bought off standard store shelves, so will be pleasantly surprised if I find RIT dye here on a supermarket shelf.

Well it depends on how much exposure to UV it cops and if you wear these or not. Given the application process seems to be about 10 min, does it really matter?

Yea it actually dyes the material. Like how you tie-dye a shirt lol.

If it fades or come off, you always can reply it very quickly lol

I think I will test the blue RIT dye out on a pair I have. Usually RIT dye will stay forever. This stuff will stain ANYTHING!

If anyone else wants some black Nike logos professionally printed and precut on vinyl drop me a pm. I'm collecting them this afternoon so they will be posted out tomorrow.

They will make an excellent mod to V2s even without an EL panel. Simply hairdry the strap apart, cut the tacky glow in the dark logo out and then place the RD look Nike logo behind and reglue. Quite an easy mod for anyone to do :thumbsup

I have 35 sets and they are ready to peel and stick. Pm me your email address please.

Hi, for those guys modding in the UK,

can you guys point me to some decent small /reasonably flat switches I could buy?
I will probably get the Judco switches later on, but for now, ill just use whatevers already available in the UK

I know the right ones to get are not the momentary click ones that are already on the shoes, but the proper click on/click off ones.

If anyone has any good recommendations, that will be great

I finished up clear soles finally! A 3lb batch was enough to mold both soles! But wont be enough to do 2 pairs of shoes. I added just a few drops of the dye into them when I molded them and they are looking sweet! They make the shoe look AMAZING, I will have pics for you guys soon! Molding is kind of expensive though, mainly the clear rubber is but if anyone wants a size US 11 set of icy blue clear soles I can start offering them to people in a week or two.

Also you MUST have some sort of vibration table or pressure vessel or there will be lots of small bubbles and they will ruin the look. I used a home made vibrating table (Orbital sander motor mounted to a table lol) worked great though!
