3D print services are very expensive. I have used a flexible filament before and the parts come out decent; plus, it would be a lot cheaper on a personal 3D printer. The only problem is the 3D files are not available and would have to be created. Would love to try this out.

You can't print a sole or heel cup and use that off the printer. It must be molded and cast in rubber.

The files do exist. He is just not sharing at this time.

cavx : Thanks for your answer ! Good to have someone who shares knowledge :)
5Kg ?!!! That's something ! Maybe you can make a molding box that is filled with clay on the sides so you won't have to use much silicone ?

About the rubber, is there a special one that is recommended if I'd like to make some SOLES ?

I just visited jedifyfe's instagram and he mentioned that the height of the HC's are 19cm and the RD and V2s are the same height. He also said how to flatten the laces with a clothes iron.
Where can I check his instagram ? And why the laces have to be ironed ?

I'll make a 3D model somedays, but not before the end of january i think. I'll share it here.

His instagram is jedifyfe (no surprise there) and the laces have to be ironed because they stick out more on the V2s then on the RD.

I've been looking at every pics on it but didn't find anything about the laces.
@Jedifyfe : can you explain or post some before/ after of the laces ironing ?
And on another subject : what happened here : https://www.instagram.com/p/jfWMBhnYHn/
do you cut the shoe to make your toe box mod ? It looks like there is not so much fabric in here and there is a clean cut.

It's in one of the comments/descriptions of the photos. I think it is this one: https://www.instagram.com/p/w2jt8NnYNo/?taken-by=jedifyfe. I think he used the same method as the steam toe.

Maybe it wold use less, but the point being, you need to have at least 1/2" wall around the part. You only make the mold box as big as it has to be. But even those flat molds used 1.5KG for the small and medium and 2KG for the large. They are about 3/4" thick. And I made the box with indents so as to save on silicone.

I have used the same elastomer to skin my mid-soles that the clear soles are made from. The cool part about doing this is that I tint it light grey and the newly added rubber bonds to both the mid-sole and clear making the whole sole much more durable.

Yes, someone ask for it but I see no response in the comments (but I'm not familliar with instagram)

Ok, and why silicon ? What about plaster ? Maybe it is not smooth as silicon... ? But i think it is cheapper.

Yes your clear soles are incredible in every way :)

I emailed him earlier but he didn't reply back yet.

-------Updated-------

He just responded. He said "Flattening the laces is pretty much the same as the slimming of the toe box with steam. Use a wet towel and iron".

@cavx you seem to know about electronics I have a 12v inverter and I have a 6v wall pack, I have a el splitter so I don't have to solder but the more I hook up the dimmer they get am I not pushing enough volts threw ?? Do I need to go to a 9v wall pack or a 12 wall pack ?

You can not capture details and reproduce those details with plaster. The plaster will either lose details or produce artifacts that are not on the original parts and therefore all of of your cast parts will have these faults. Even non-degased silicone (like the fast set silicone I used to use) can produce these issues. And this is why I only now use silicone with a long potlife and degas all my silicone used for molds.

The vacuum chamber is still required for the pour or your clear soles will be white with bubbles.

12 for each shoe.

It will be bright. EL needs higher current/voltage for larger areas, so a 3V system is perfect for lighting just the strap logo. Add the sole lights, and you need to step it up to 9V due to the increase of surface area or run the system dimmer.

I want to do a full TRON style suit and and thinking I am going to need between 18V to 24V to light this nice and bright. Lucky the TRON suit has a big thing on the back to house the power supply and larger inverter.

thanks ! I think I will run on 12v for each shoe. I'm running an all el system much like yours.

What batteries are you running here? I was looking at A23 because it is small and 12V, but these have just 55mha, so might not last very long. Mind you, I have not tested this and it would be awesome if these could replace the 9V I am using now.
