What batteries are you running here? I was looking at A23 because it is small and 12V, but these have just 55mha, so might not last very long. Mind you, I have not tested this and it would be awesome if these could replace the 9V I am using now.
I'm actually running off of a adjustable wall pack that can go from 3v to 12v this pair of shoe are for display.
I've just added the el panels on my ankle bubble looks blue but is actually white in person.

WOW, Your HCs are really becoming great ! Lot of work to get there but by seeing your result, I can tell it's worth it !
And the EL panel is changing everything. Nice work Prime ;)

(Could you post your Mods in the HC's thread ?)

Looks good. Yeah 12V will be nice and bright. You have to double and even tripple filters to get a bright yellow and red from even white EL.

When I measured the colour temp, it was 9300K. To bring it down to 6500K (D6500K = daylight), I had a add a yellow filter first. Then add the double layer of colour filters. This is my my EL bubble is not bright.

For a display pair, I would probably do LEDs as battery life is a non-issue when plugged into the wall.
