Screen Shot 2015-12-16 at 9.28.02 PM.png fond this fabric on amazon it looks pretty close

Im confused about how to print these and keep them at the right scale.

The file should be about 3000 pixels wide. If it is not, then posting it has scaled it. When printed 1:1, the x,y will be 25.4mm. The foot print will be the same size as the text says it is. Now when I assembled these, this size is closer to a US10 than a US8, so you need to scale it down by printing as x% reductions.

Lets start with the file. If they are not 3000px wide, email me (cavxonline@gmail.com) and I will send you the full sized files.

cavx Is your pair of Mags rechargeable or do you change the batteries or do you use rechargeable batteries?

Found that fabric too but doesn't look like the correct fabric.

If the whole upper was made from it, it would look pretty good.

Right now I am using disposables. I am interested in the recharge idea simply because the battery can be pulled apart to have two flat cells. I don't really care for the recharge port though.

The frosty bubble looks terrific ! How did you applied the matte coating ?
Did you mixed it with a white color to get it more opaque ?

I have pushased one and run som tests on a piece of glossy plastic and it doesn't look so frosted :/

Just finished reshaping the uppers and making new tongues for both shoes now I just have to wait for lights, clear soles, and Markpoon stickers

Prime, these might just be the best pair of HCs I have seen. :)

you should have taken some before pictures with the same angle.

Here is my new Upper, It is not yet finished, I have to add the velcros ;)

That mod looks so good. Good job.

I am using an EL and LED setup on a pair of custom shoes, the thing is I used the person from heres method on how to wire everything on 1 battery, and everything went fine. But now for some reason my left shoe inverter keeps blowing and I dont know why, and ideas or clues why this is happening?

Those look amazing Prime! How did you reshape the upper like that?

I basically cut the stitching where the white cuff was around the bottom, sides and pull holes are I had used a template that cavx gave me a long time ago for my tongue mod and had a upper template so I sized it to my shoe and cut it out onto foam about 2 sheet for one side. First I undid the stitching and removed the foam in the collar on the upper. After that I cut the foam upper in half so I have two and placed one in the upper trying to match it with the oval pull hole. After fiddling with it to get to where I can cut the oval fabric and pull it over and glue it to the edge of the triangular pull holes I cut the white leather upper on the inside so it can match before glueing everything back together I used the other half and glue it on top of the foam inside and gluing mainly around the triangular holes so the shape will stay. on the template I used there was excess at the bottom of the foam so cut it off. After glueing both foam sheet together I glue down the white leather on the road so it looks like before the stitching was undone. I don't think this process has been done before by anyone else so I'd give it a try. The main goal of doing this mod was to preserve the fabric of the original shoe so I don't have to make a whole new upper and find matching fabric. For the collar keeping it straight I cut some coat hanger wire and superglue some foam at the ends and placed it into the collar BEFORE glueing the white leather back and bent into shape. (the upper template is from cavx when he was making homemade mags I just edit it for the upper by cutting the upper portion off and printing it off.)
