Here's the same update I put on the other thread:
Well, as promised to Cav, here's my review of his awesome clear soles! I'll keep it short and sweet..... just buy them
The flare on them looks very similar to the RDs which is real nice. The material is very sturdy and will last nicely, and it's so crystal clear that it shames my RDs!
Now, onto the pics which will hopefully explain everything:
A quick pic of us starting work...and when I saw WE, I mean Khalid as he did most of the work, I just helped trim a few parts and line things up. We had to trim the flashing from each piece with a knife then finish up with a dremel. This isn't a quick job if you want it 100% so bare that in mind and set aside a whole day if you're a perfectionist. I wasn't too bothered about the underside being perfect, just the sides really.

Both undersides on. One in sunlight, the other not. There's a slight hint of yellow from the glue used but that's fine with me. It's insanely strong glue which is the important bit.

The black and yellow look the best, I already have a couple pairs of them, wore one to death. The yellow paint on the MAG at the heel doesn't quite match the yellow of the sole so you may need to re-do it like I did. If the 'test order' arrives, might get an extra V1 to mod a more substantial outsole onto. The midsole on the V1s is really nice and soft, very comfortable. Just that the rubber is thin and wears away relatively quickly compared to the V2's.thanks man! if you get your's i'm grabbing the black and yellow pair....maybe the black and red too.

An all EL system simplifies the entire wiring.
If you use EL + LEDs, you need to two wires running down the back of the shoe because LEDs won't run off AC and EL won't run off DC, so you need a line for each.
An all EL system only requires a single wire down the back of the shoe that has a splitter at the sole end - one to the sole and the other for the bubble.

My parts arive at home sloly but surely, today I recive my lambskin for my tongue mod. I'm realy entousiast about this leather slappy as I need, and realy soft in the suede side .
As I wrote on one of my first post here I doesnt whant make a RD or movie replica but my vision of what could be the air in 2015 (I know it's strange) but I'm realy hungry after NIKE and ther politicy all we whant is mag for the most pepole they have dreamed about all this years and not a rich war in auction like in 2011...
I whant if it's possible to add some modification to my V2 the tonge as I say, but I whant also install some grey suede on the hell toe like on my air jordn I nouveau. the sensation of this material is just awesome oO.
For that I thinking of dye the suede part of my lambskin and instal it on the mash inside. how I didn't know exactely but it's one of my target for this mod. this last will help me to hide the presure sensor who work as a momentary switch (i will keep a "general switch" for use my mag as standard shoes ^^)
like my ajI nouveau I whant make a leather embossed label with just the mag logo white on white as they sayd.
I realy love this part of this realy good shoes (the better reissue of the AJI I have.
About paint work I made some small mod like that.
Some point are completely new for me as the unglue sol or midsol, I have already win to the toe box restoration (on my air command force and my AJXIII by exemple but it's more easy as reform it.

No photos on hand. I can take some when I re-wire my shoes in the coming days. All I recommend is making the runs longer and pulling excess down and storing it inside the sole under the sock liner.
