For those that have access to the stuff I posted the image of, it should last a fair amount longer than 2 days. And I will suggest that you need apply it and leave it for no longer than half and hour and do not need UV to work.

have you personally used this stuff on the shoes?

Not yet on my shoes, though I have tested it on plastic. What I was amazed with (and why I have suggested it) is how well it cleaned up a piece of UV affected (ie yellowed) white plastic. It seems to have virtually restored the original colour where it came in contact with this stuff. It was not left on any longer than 5 mins and cleaned off with a wet cloth.

I am suggesting a tooth brush be used to get an even coat. I would also suggest that you have one of those hoses that clamp onto the tap so you can have a gentle stream of water handy. I caution about getting this stuff on any of the upper or even the mid sole.

Well, I might have a chance to get to an Aldi tomorrow, so I'll go looking for 'power force' and be the guinea pig on my yellow MAGs.....

How yellow are they?

Don't forget to grab a cheap tooth brush and be sure to have cloth or paper towel to clean up. Good luck.

And don't get any on the uppers unless you want white MAGs ;)

Yep I keep old toothbrushes for cleaning anyway.
Unfortunately the Aldi power force had pretty much no effect, as you can see in the photo of my test. IMG_3289.JPG
Pity.
It didn't do much to the translucent sole either, or to the clear sole of a pair of Jordan 6's I tried it on too.

here's a photo of the toeboxes of the MAGs that never come out of their box with the ones that I wear out, though in real life the difference seems more striking....

oh, I left the power force on for about 10 mins or so.

I can see they are quite yellow. Mine have not turned that way yet.

I would have thought that 'power force' would have made a bigger difference. I guess we keep looking or re-test for 30min.

That was the plan, to leave it on for longer, or test another product more bleach-like.... unless I can find a lighter grey colour changing spray and just repaint the whole grey midsole and then re-splatter it..... ah, if only I worked part-time so I'd have time for all my projects.....

Where did you buy them from???

What's the diff between v1 and 2?

Sorry if its been asked i searched the thread and didn't find anything
