What shipping method did you choose.

I bought 2 pairs, 1 pair from chinashop, they sent them with DHL, and my other purchase was made by the woman who I have been buying off of for 3+ years, those were shipped by EMS - to be honest, EMS makes me very very nervous, once they reach Britain, Parcelforce take your package and put it through customs, if the package is slightly big, they will open and seize, and you will receive a wonderful letter from customs, telling you to forfeit your shoes or they will take you to court.

DHL sailed through, but it is $40 more for shipping.

Your EMS pair have been seized? Or you have not received them yet?

I've used EMS for things out of China since 2009 and never had a problem. It is reasonably fast and much cheaper than the other services like DHL or FedEX.

I got both pairs, but i`ve had a few shoe packages seized with EMS.

Mine sailed through EMS, i think its because it was close to christmas and they let loads through - fingers crossed you get your pair pal, when you do, open them slowly then take them out and slowly turn them around, then put the lights on and smile to yourself :-D

Bulk items will more than likely make customs suspicious of what there next intention is, one pair would probably have a blind eye turned. My last Ems delivery had no problems and I find china related imports never get duty on them, USA always does with Royal Mail and couriers .

Had a few items from china and I've never had duty added.

It's a 3v inverter but I plan on getting a smaller one at the start of january when they are in stock. The one pictured will work n all but I want something even smaller

There is a switch on that inverter board as you can see but I really want to find a way to use the v2 switch for the strap aswell so all lights go on at same time.

If my v2's arrive(finally in the U.K now) I will make a mod thread and explain all there.

also, will the 3v be enough to power leds, and el lights for strap and the soles?

what battery can you use with a 3v inverter?

if you could post up a wiring diagram or tutorial and where to get the inverters/batteries that would be great.

I think that's just for your large order. Never had a problem with Parcelforce bar occasional customs charges

I got a pair of v1 or 2 or whatever te black ones are lol an who ever sent them sent via ems and also wrote shoes gift on the box? I hope that's not to keep coustomes away because I doubt it will be written on the v2 box...

Il be so gutted if I don't get them after paying 250 for them.

Elwirecraft from eBay, there inverters don't start off that small, I strip them down as Cloneprops did a while back, I advise you check his blog

The 3v inverter wont be apart of the same wiring loom as the LEDs Ect as the v2's use there own rechargeable battery via USB, the strap is the only thing the inverter needs to power.

I haven't made up the diagram yet but as soon as its done it will be posted in my mod thread, my v2's are in the uk so lets hope customs release and I get them soon

oh i see.
1 are you doing the EL Lights also for the soles?

Or are you going to just have the v2 leds in the heel cup and the soles, and just use el inverter for the strap?

If you scroll up i posted a pic of a aqua LED that i will replace with the blue ones, i might phase in EL in the sole's if the 2nd batch of v2's don't have, but we will see.

Main priority is to replace the stock v2 strap, the rest of the mods can follow, sole el/aqua leds, toe correction and redo the area around the cuffs with metal rod inserts to stop the cowboy boot look that is happening when there is no foot in them, i can't stand how they flare out at the top.
