YES.All the pieces in different sizes,I think that is the only way to have to ALL people accurate Mags replicas.heel cup and bubbles would be useful with that flexible 3dprint option,but some pieces like soles and midsoles...not much confortable!!!

Haha! That's actually a Van de Graaff (electrostatic) generator. The Tesla coil is in the garage being rebuilt with a bigger transformer... I couldn't, err shouldn't, ever bring that inside!

Hey guys, Punisher's toe build up idea works!
I have pulled apart my leather MAGs. For those that followed my thread know that I stuffed up on the clean toe and covered it using gross-grain and Shoe Goo. After removing the uppers and trimming the excess glue from the rim, I found that I had a little bonus where I was able to reshape the toe adding those few mm to the height. You can see where the original toe ends by where the splatter ends, and that excess height is made up using Shoe Goo.
So whilst these soles need re-painting and re-splattering, the toe is now much more accurate because it does not tapper off at the ends. It is easy to do as well. Good one Punisher and thanks for sharing

hi you know the sugru stuff you are using?
once you've shaped it and added it to your soles, how hard does it get? and how long does it take to dry?
does it become permanently shaped? or will it distort in any heat?

I didn't have my HD cam when I pulled these apart :unsure
I don't enough about the surgru rubber, but I think it has the benefit of being able to be mixed to the right colour where I have to now mask up my clear soles (once again) and spray the whole think, them re-splat.
It gets pretty strong, but stays flexible. It's resistant from -50 degrees Celsius to +180 degrees Celsius. UV resistant and electrically insulating. This is straight from the inside of the package.

Sounds great.
I have begun reshaping the size US11 soles.
Marked and cut the excess off to reduce the height at the back of the heel.
After the chop. Yeah I know it looks rough, I'll clean that up soon. I might use a bit of acetone to melt the rough bits.
I probably won't use these off cuts but it was interesting to see how close they are to a perfect size.
