has anyone paid the difference from pickgoodshoes?

I said F this noise as well but instead of filing a claim or asking for a refund, I went the other way.... I paid the difference with pickgoodshoes last night and I got an email this evening from nathermarry with my shipping tracking number.... probably irrational to pay $270 when shoebags has them for $180.....

Oh well, hopefully no more headache and hopefully in 3 to 7 days I will have something I've wanted since I was a kid. Yes, not perfect as many have pointed out, some apes more critical than others, but when I fell in love with them as a kid, I sure as s*** didn't care about a centimeter here and a thread there. They will still have the "those are the coolest things I've ever seen" factor... for me at least

Has anyone heard anything at ALL from LebronJames10? My account on the site shows my order as "approved" but I haven't heard anything else. I'm just hoping they don't try to hike the price on me since I got in when they were still $90.

No and I am not happy about that. I bought and paid $90 on the morning of the day they jacked the price to $229. Nothing has changed on my account and I have never received any further correspondence. I feel I'm one of many that have been ripped off here.

My feeling is I'll wait till the first person has received their shoes and if I still have no contact or response from them I call my credit card company and call it a day. No harm, no foul, just a bit of wasted time.

Actually, I do believe that they are the same pair of shoes in the 2 videos. The way the person unboxes them and shows them off is very similar, he has a black top on in both, and the floor has white tiles, and music in the background that sound like it is coming out of the same speaker quality, and a hand that looks like its been cloned :lol

Same website owner I think, just a differently made video on purpose.

I don't know whether or not I like the clear LEDs in the bubble. I like the colour it adds when they're off but these clear lights also give you more of a surprise.

So long has it been for you? Just checking dates and it seems I placed my order on the 19th of last month. I next and only email from them is dated the 6th of November.

I am going to suggest she is referring to the electronics failing. I don't think the shoe itself will break, especially if they are made anything like the V1s. They were as tough as nails.

Both the V1 and V2 are based on an MP MAG. Did you ever hear about a pair of those breaking? I never have. Unless it was because someone took to them with a pair of scissors.

Getting anxious now for these to arrive. Was just wondering whether or not to sell the boxes since I doubt i'll need more than two. If possible i'd like to make a more accurate inner foam piece for these boxes.

As these look to be wooden boxes, I was half thinking of adding some handles, hinges, corner brackets etc to make them look like more of a riff on the plutonium case.
