There was a guy who was posting vague comments to the effect that he was connected to the shoes in some way but the provenance of the pictures seems pretty well established now. They were sent to some members from the factories.

They were released a few years back...believe it or not in a stainless steel, gullwing box also. HaHa They were a limited run also, not sure the exact number but you can find some on ebay or something for about $200-300.

OK, that explains that, but how about why they can't release the pictures officially that have already been leaked? If you say you have something but don't show any proof for weeks, it means you're lying.

Basically, the factories themselves don't have anywhere to post pictures. That's up to the individual sites if/when they get the shoes. Which they so far have not.
But hopefully soon willopcorn
Not completely true...many would still use stock pics that were taken by the factories if they were given the photos.
I will create a thread on my shoes within the next few days and throw some pictures in as well...seems it might be of some use since I just shouldnt post anything without being ready to disclose details :rolleyes

Im a FIRM believer in not quoting pictures as it tends to make threads repetitive but I cant resist! BRAD! THIS IS SIMPLY AMAZING! I actually might have to take this color scheme on. My fett love trumps ANYTHING bttf related. Youre making me feel....ways...Ive never....felt before. :lol
The only thing I would add to your Fett mags would be the skull on the back "calf bell" as I would call it. You should consider being a consultant to people who end up getting their mags airbrushed.

Your claims seem quite astounding. But I must ask, if they DO take considerably longer than 2 weeks, will they be compatible with an advanced action suit?

You mean would they be able to be integrated with an advanced action suit? Quite possible, it would just be a means of wiring the electronics to do what one would want.

I was thinking of a new market for these types of shoes.....raver kids. LOL. Unfortunately price may be an issue for them.
There are several members who have been trying to construct accurate replicas for a year now, so claiming that you can pop out accurate shoes from scratch in two weeks is a pretty fantastical claim, and sure to provoke a "put up or shut up" attitude. This is a perfectly normal response to such a claim on your part, and shouldn't be of any concern to you if you can actually pull off what you say you can pull off.

Its not really a concern for me. We all have different talents and abilities and I am not knocking anyone. I know what I am capable of...and its understandable that you all dont because you really havent seen my work, but you will see "in the coming days" (haha, see what I did there?)

I've been a lurker for too long and with these knockoff replicas on their way I decided its time for me to sign up.
I have little to add but on a skype chat with a shoesbagonsales rep that I have talked with before she said they are taking their photos of the shoe this week. I'd take that with a grain of salt but thats what I've been told. I've read a couple posts and people are suspicious (rightfully so) and wondering why they don't just use those (leaked?) prototype pics and I have a simple answer. They don't look professional. That might sound weird but even replica companies try to make their products look as authentic as possible, even downright misleading. Heres an example.
Anyway I think we'll see something soon, crossing my fingers. Looking forward to the other props in here too.

In all honesty I would love for them to have an exact replica for that $130 price tag. But for some reason I am not sure that will be the case. If it is then hats off to them!
