My point is that sneakerheads don't recognize is at the license plate and that their should be a BTTF quiz if they are to be made limited again.

Now if there was a quiz on the 2011 MAG I see you guys could handle it just fine.

what spray paint did you end up using? and does it flake off easily?
on your black ones, how do you intend to do it?

Those soles were just a tester not intended for use in any project just to be clear =P

I used a light grey Rust-Oleum spray paint, then all over that sole I tried different methods of flicking the paint on.

My black mag soles will either be done like my heel cups(see my thread for details) or I will just leave black like Cavx suggested.

Hi All

I spoke with Melis last night about the nike mags, I originally paid the $180 through western union for the shoes, I was then told that the mags were returned back to the factory, I then asked her last night if I could make up the difference, to the price stated now - and she agreed - so fingers crossed, I will have my nike mags before christmas, and i`ll be happy to take as many pictures as possible for you guys and girls

I am not exactly sure when the Chinese New Year is, but when that comes around early next year, you guys will frustrated then because the whole country stops for a week! Seriously, they celebrate this one day with a week long party and nothing gets done. Frustrating when you want your parts.

Just found that $1500 pair of V2s on eBay. How rude! The seller is using an image we all would have saved and whist it makes the shoes look good, they clearly are not the RD MAG. I almost want to contact the buyer ans warn them about this scam.

I guess it's kind of like that incident where someone tried to sell a pair of upgraded Markpoons and stating that they were a pair from Nike before they perfected them. Members here gathered together to stop the scam,and thankfully they did. There's a whole thread on it if you want to check it out.

Trust me, when you get them, you wear them once in the house then put them straight in the box. I said the very same thing as you before I got a pair, trust me....your opinion changes VERY quickly

Have to agree, aside from wearing mine around the house I wore them out in public only once at Motorcity Comicon in MI. People went crazy over them, most thought they actually power laced. I was nervous the whole time that someone would step on them while I was pushing through the crowds. Got home and cleaned off the bottoms and the top white leather trim which had a little bit of blue dye from my jeans rub off on them. Went right in to my display case. That's why I want these knockoffs so I can actually wear a pair out. Its not really like an expensive watch or suit or wallet, its somthing that if worn makes contact with filth all the time. I rather keep them looking perfect with that new shoe smell

I just had a look and the auction has been pulled. Good job too, over $1500 is ridiculous money for what they are. :angry

As mentioned previously, I'm in a position to acquire a mail out shoes to anyone who fancies taking the plunge on the V2's but has been getting the run around from the resellers.

I got a quote for shipping from here in China today (via tracked EMS). All prices are US dollars.

This is my semi fear now with the fakes - the hype is so strong that anywhere you where these things out people are going to go nuts. Just walking down the street will be a hassle - explaining that yes im wearing fake shoes or no sir please dont kill me, here take them.
