And that is also my point with regards to the PKE meter comparison.

(I am assuming you know about the PKE meter prop from Ghostbusters ? It was very hard to make and required alot of individual parts, semi-obsolete shoe-shining machines to cast the shell or use an original, electronics etc, etc. Complex and expensive. Then Mattel made a very acceptable replica for $75)
 
i do take Pitbull's side with regards to the price, they are worth the $200+ but the principle was they had to ask for more money, if they had just asked for that initially in my eyes there would be no problem, people would know the price and what they were paying for, its the way they have dealt with this product that is not acceptable.

The more bartering and negative feedback we give them the better it will be for us all, if we work as a team we can put our "mass view" across and we will stand more of a chance at seeing a revised price for the pre orderers (i think i just made that word up but you know what i mean) >.<

Agreed...I ordered a second pair from Shoesbagonsale...so if they give the inital price from pickgoodshoes then I'll just have 2 pairs...haha we'll see. But I'm not giving them another $140 just for the principle and plus I plan on wearing these out at least a few times.
 
My plan is to get one pair for display and convert the straps. Then when the price comes back down, get another pair to wear.
 
Have you guys seens the recent news stories about the FBI seizing a large number of website selling fake shoes, bags, etc and their freezing the associated Paypal accounts?

It might explain a couple of the recent issues with making payments, etc.

I preordered my shoes on october 14th from pickgoodshoes.com.

I've been able to escalate the transaction to a claim with paypal since it is within the 45 days window.

I advice everybody to do the same to make sure you get your money back if you used paypal.
 
I just got the email asking for another $80 as well. I asked for a refund.

F them...

What site did you use? Apparently the general opinion here is "F-Them" I totally agree...I'll wait a few more months for the price to drop...Not giving them ANY extra money since I haven't seen the shoes in over a month.
