I think Brad has a great point about the LED color in the V2s. I had that same thought when I saw those RD shots posted and realized that it would be possible for the green and yellow LEDs not to register properly in photos.

Yeah, red leds tend to eat up colours like green in photos. You can see that the lights become cooler around the green end. They will be RYG.

Isn't the Nike Mag box for the RD a perfect square?

The one from those chinese sites looks far more rectangular. Doesn't look like any distortion in the photo apart fromm a slight wobble on the right.

Nope. I bought them on day 1, when all the sites had them for $89 with a 10% discount for more than 2 pair.

And I got mine on the day lebronjames10 upped the price from $90.99 (plus 30 shipping) to $229 plus shipping. I was almost not going to make the purchase and something told me I should and I should do it now. Lucky I did because by that afternoon, the price was $229+.

Also a lucky break was that the AUD was stronger than the USD, so my 90.99+30 converted out to be about 112.00AUD.

Given there is no strap light, I'm guessing battery is in the sole. Lets hope these batteries are re-chargeable. If not, it is a mod or too bad so sad when they run flat.

I do think that we'll have quite a few disappointed people when the these shoes come out. These are inferior copies of what were already mostly display-only shoes. I doubt these will hold up to much walking.

I also worry about how durable the soles will be.

Things that concern me are:

1. The elastic laces (and I assume the velcro) look to be the same crap we got on the V1s which basically failed at 6 months.
2. The durability of the clear soles given how fast the black V1 soles wore down.
3. The cloth on the outers. The V1 outer was quite rugged being PVC. These are not.
4. The life of the lights. I can't see these lasting that long.

I wore mine allot - up to 4 or 5 times a week and because we were headed into Winter, it was generally cool enough through Autumn to wear jeans as well during the day. Then again, I'll wear jeans in the middle is Summer too :lol

The soles stood up OK around the house and at a shopping centers but 3 days at a theme park ripped them down to almost flat. And that was when I began MAG surgery.
