Nexus 6 Metal Blade Runner Blaster From Down Under

It was one that I remember seeing in a thread here about 3 or 3.5 year ago andit predates Rich Coyle all metal model by about a year or so.Does anyone have any info on this and what happened to the guy who was making them.Thanks :cheers :thumbsup

If I recall correctly there was no resolution for this one, John simply vanished with the money. He ripped off a number of people on other boards as well, Blade Runner and Logan's Run fans alike.

i don't know if he ripped anyone off, as i can only speak for myself. But he did take deposts for an all metal blaster, called the nexus 6, which i did sign up and pay for. Unfortunately he fell on hard times, and a long time went by without any progress on the project. i eventually did get all of my refund back. it did take a few emails from me though, and it did come in a few payments. but im satisfied there was no ill-intent on johns. if there was, i think i just would have got a runaround and no refund.

Anybody have any pictures of this? I looked on the RPF and it seems the thread was never archived. I have seen the pic that Pucknell has on his site, but that is about it.

I also got totally ripped off on this one, and in fact, John has disappeared off the face of the planet. I ran allot of interference on the project, trying to keep people up to date, ect. It seemed any time John wanted to talk give an update, I would get an email, or a phone call...
I lost more than cash, but a clip gun kit I had for ages, as well as a lot of time, and in the end, a good part of my reputation. I really hoped that things would have been finished up, but its been a almost 6 months, and the last I heard, he got married and was looking for a place to live. Nothing since.
A real shame, the guy had talent, but no organization. Im sorry to see people getting burnt by this project. Im even sorrier I got involve. Nothing but heartache, and allot of empty promises...
