New Star Trek TOS Phaser coming November 2014

I figured I would have to cut the brass nut down (to near wafer thickness) to fit into the recess of TWC handle. Or counterbore the hole.
You would have to counter bore the hole. I'm not sure how much material there is to work with. I can say that my nut couldn't be cut down enough. My screw slot is almost exactly the same depth as the Wands screw head is thick.

(edit) I just tore into the wand handle, and it doesn't look like there is any material to bore into.

Thanks for the info. Would love to see some pics of TWC handle at the bottom.

Hmm... not much hope there to add a brass nut. Possibly clean out the existing material, pot in some resin, then drill and counterbore to accept the thickness of the nut and threaded rod.

Thanks by-the-way for the quick turnaround of a picture!

Not a problem. If all goes well My entire handle with the nut should be affordable. I plan to offer it unpainted also.

Any Idea on what it would cost to have the p1 accurized? Number dial having numbers, and a white led instead of red. And a chrome trigger. Because that plus a handle makes it just damn near perfect!!!!!

ThinkGeek has 20/25/30% off using code GIFTQUIK through 12/25. Added a 99 cent IPOD cover to put me over the $150 mark. My total was $112,64 - can't wait!

I don't know about the rest of it since I haven't attempted to open up mine yet, but at least you can have an accurate number dial for free if you're already opening your P1 anyway.

I created this PDF sheet in Illustrator and have made it available as a free download, which anyone can freely print and share.

The sheet includes the GJ version, the TMOST/Finney version, and the Tech Manual version in four different scales. The Wand Phaser size is the third one down.

Here's the link to the file, and here's a jpeg image of it so you can have a look:
