No I didn't...mostly because I can't! :lol

Not seeing any grabbable section in this window. Apologies in advance if I'm being more than ordinarily thick! :)

In fairness, I don't see the grabhandle, but if you hover here, you can increase the size.

If we could get a link for the chat room it'd be cool. That or something like the old board had where you could see the # of people in there at the moment.

Other than that, so far so good.

Chris

Guys if you can change one thing, make it getting rid of that big block of graphics/links between the main navigation and the forum itself.
:D

I don't know if it had been said before but what about the "share your fandom" thing? It seriously took me 2 days to figure out that this just for creating a new topic. Nowadays using "share" implies connecting to some sort of social media (Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr or whatever) and that's where I got confused. Sure, it sounds creative and inspirational but maybe a good old "new topic" would clearify things. Just sayin'. Dunno if anyone else got confused too.

Is it just me that experiences that the site is behaving sluggish at moments. Taking up to 15 seconds to load a new page. Might be nothing serious.

Sorry I haven't read through the 19 pages but for me the "craft your fandmom" banner overlaps the "remember me" box

so I have to login every time I visit.

I clicked on it to find out what it was. I had no idea it was new topic/thread until I did that.

We won't mess with the New Posts list or search lists until we have completely nailed down the look for the threads. Once we are sure on those, we will make New Posts and Search results match. Definitely on the list.

Glad to hear that. At the moment it's very difficult for me to surf this website and go to new posts, because I mainly use the "new posts" list.

I am using windows/ Chrome and everything has to be scrolled over to the right to read it. My resolution is 1024 * 768 which i think is pretty standard. TDH doesnt have this issue. That's the only thing that's really bugging me. Keep up the good work.

I think this is a chrome issue, I had a problem a while ago where there was a sneaky side bar that was messing with things, forcing me to click to the right of everything on the page. Try googling it, there was a simple fix I found, I just can't think of what to google anymore.

Not sure if this has been addressed yet, but when I post a reply with a quote, the software seems to copy the quote and my reply, then paste it again with the word "updated" in between.

Also, when I go to post a video link, the entry field for the link does not show the information pasted in there. It's there, but it's invisible.

I'm on IE8, and the home page has a few issues for me. The Dredd graphic is a little garbled on the right hand side, and the gradient on the Replica Movie Props forum makes it hard to read.

I'm having almost the same problem with the gradient in the "Similar Threads" box at the bottom of the page as I type this. The dark text on light background toward the top/left is readable, but the light text on dark background toward the bottom/right is not as readable.

edit:
Actually, now that I look at the home page again, the first subforum in each section has that gradient, as does the list of who is online. It's really hard to read.

Finally, I noticed an "Error on page" at the bottom left of my browser window so I tried compatibility view. That makes the gradients go away but the Dredd thing still looks messed up. Compatability view does not change the gradient in the "Similar Threads" box.

I would still really like the ability to collapse sub-forum sections and the list of online users on the front page (ie: like it was on the old site). That's pretty much the only thing left that I'd like to be carried over.

Another thing I've noticed. Whenever I look at someone's profile I always end up looking at his activity. When I wanna read his profile information I have to click on "About Me". Is there a way to make it like "About XY" 'cause at first I really thought it was my information I will be looking at^^

I think I'm the only one who used the white/blue theme. I hated the white on black :D

I loved the white and blue theme too.

I've now read in the "why did you do that" thread about the site changes that there are no plans to offer other color themes. SERIOUSLY???? The color preference of a forum is such a subjective thing, and some people like lighter, some darker, but there seems to be a huge consensus that this drab grey sucks. It's not just that it looks blah, it literally makes the site harder to read and I find I'm wanting to get off the site after just a few minutes now. Not good because this is my favorite internet forum by far!
