Greetings, everyone. My name is Lee. I finally got around to actually joining RPF after creeping around the forums for quite a while referencing everything under the sun. I'm a woodworker by trade but build pretty much anything i can get my hands on. I've been in the prop/cosplay build scene for a few years now and love every single minute of it. I'm not into one specific genre or character.... I just want to build alllllllll the things lol. At present I'm working on my Trooper armor to gain entry into the ranks of the 501st and finishing up the body for my Groot build. After that comes Dredd then.... finishing the 689 other projects that I'm working on as well.

Hi. After years of lurking, I decided to finally sign up. I always figured I wouldn't have much to show. I still probably won't have much, but it's fun to hang out. Anyway, I'm an artist . I draw and paint mostly but I have a working knowledge of other media. I was also a picture framer for 12 years. So I also have a good understanding of finishes. I did archival framing, so I also know a lot about how various products interact and how well they'll stand up over time. I've been fascinated by props and make-up for years. I was one of those kids poring over Starlog and Famous Monsters of Filmland.

I've lurked, I've learned. I've loomed. Now I'm registered.
I'm new. I'm here. And I'm excited to keep drooling over all the amazing builds and info and whatnot.

Howdy Jon10man and Hoppy81! I'm from Provo . I had a booth in artist alley at the last three SLC comic cons, we might've seen each other.

Hello everyone, I'm Mike, formerly a sculptor, set designer and prop maker of 30 years at Tussaud's, Blackpool, UK. Now working in wood sculpture but I am about to get started on some classic sci-fi and real spacecraft scratchbuilds. Check out my James Bond sculpts post.

Hi everyone,

I'm Hendo, just started working on a Spider Gwen costume; getting lots of help from former posts on this site, WHAT A GOLDMINE!

Hey everyone. I'm Eric, a chainmail artisan from upstate NY. Currently I cosplay as the Kingpin and Uncle Fester. Working on a couple new ones to intro this year.

hello all. just joined and want to introduce myself. I am Pascal, a long time sci-fi fan. I never made, or owned any movie props at all but when younger i scratch build fantasy spaceships and weapons. sadly all of them got destroyed in a big fire some years ago. want to pick that hobby back up and i hope you dont mind a build of a spaceship or item sci-fi related that isnt build after a movie/series but can end up looking like a mix of styles and acidental resemblens to known models. like said, i dont like using kits or reference but just go with the flow while building from scratch, using whatever i find that might look good on a model.

Hello everybody, I here to learn from each of yall. I want to learn to do my own Ironman or batman costume for some con coming up in my area.

Hey out there, Just wondering if there was a way of finding out if there were any local prop making groups or RPF members in Tucson, AZ.? (I did use the search engine before I asked, per instructions in my "welcome" email)

Hello, I'm Pascal.

My passion is to work at a (so I modestly hope "ultimate") version of the Indiana Jones Story Grail Diary. Some of you will know me already from the COW-Forum.
But now I want share my work also with you. I hope to get some hints here in the RPF to finish my work sometime in the future. :)
Oh, and maybe i can help some of you with your own grail diary projects. :)

Hello,

Tegan here and I found this forum when I was researching some of the parts my husband and I will need for our Impala conversion as we just got our project car (67 Caprice to convert into Metallicar). Looks like there is a lot of good information here and we'll be visiting fairly regularly I think. :)

Hello everyone!

Let me start off by saying, my name is Roy Correll. I love gaming, anime, cosplay, and drawing. I make cosplay costumes from scratch and Im starting back on projects for costumes from games or anime. I do wish for someday to make Samus Aran P.E.D suit costume and to make a ninja armor from the old scraps around my environment.

Hey,
I've been an avid movie collector for years and I've decided to take my passion to the next level with props. I hope to learn a lot from this place!

What Up!
I've lurked round this place every now and then trying to fill my brain with ideas and the awesome interpretations of the things everyone on here has, so thought I might as well join up. Ive always liked props and costuming and have found it to be my go to time killer. ive only ever done extremely simple things but I hope to learn from yall masters out there. currently trying my luck at a Dain Ironfoot helm and armor so we shall see how that goes

Hi there, my name is Sam and I'm from Washington. I've been a lurker on TheRPF on and off for about two years now. I'm just starting to get into foam armor builds and I can't wait to expand and gain even more knowledge from all of you!

Hi, my name is Daniel, I'm from NC and I've always had an interest in making things, until recently I didn't really attempt to actually build much. I do sew a bit, I designed my own Umbrella Corporation themed coat with interchangeable shoulder patches, and I am currently working on a Pip-Boy 3000 build designed to hold a Galaxy 5s for use with future Fallout-related builds I intend to do. I also want to get into doing some Star Wars stuff, but time and money don't often combine in ways I'd like.

Hi everyone! My name is Anto-err Commander Thorn! I found this site by looking around for some tips on how to make clone armor and it seems like a really nice community! Thank you and have a nice day fellow Padawans, Clones, Rebels, and Storm troopers!
