Hello.
I am mainly here due to my enthusiasm for Jurassic Park, and related props. I also plan on making my own prop replicas which I will begin construction in a few months.

Hey folks,

I am a 3D modeler who uses Cinema 4D to create my models. Currently, I am near the start of modeling a high detail Millennium Falcon. Your resources here will be invaluable to me and I really appreciate all the hard work that people have done here to identify the different model kits used on the 5 foot studio model.

Hey everybody,

Wow, intros are hard to write... Im into Star Wars, LotR, I play WoW, huge fan of the Marvel movies, recently started reading a few comic books, I have never cosplayed before or even attended a Con. But I've been enjoying educating myself on the forums on how people make their costumes. I've been considering making a costume to wear to Cleveland Browns games.

Re: >> New Members: Please Introduce Yourselves Here! <<

Hey Everybody!
I'm Andrew, I'm 16 in high school, and am brand new here!
I joined after hearing Adam Savage talk about it a few times as I'm a huge fan of Mythbusters, Tested, and everything else Adam and Jamie do. So far this seems like a fantastic place so I'm looking forward to learning a lot and maybe, just maybe, be able to help someone once in a while 8)

Nice to see a fellow Browns fan! Although this isn't really a good week to bring them up... haha.

Hi,

Found this brilliant site while looking for details about Loki's Scepter. Since I'm getting ready for next year Comicon. Hope I will get more advises about materials to use in my future costume and props projects.

Hello all,
finally getting around to joining, though I've been following builds for a year or so now. I do costuming and prop making as a hobby, and now since I have a better workspace, plan on getting around to it more often. Upcoming projects include a mad max 1 costume (just found the jacket at an antique store) and Eli's machete from Book of Eli.

Happy to finally join and can't wait to see everyone's new projects

Hey everyone, I'm Jay. I'm a CG modeler from California. Been lurking on here for a long time. I've done a lot of superhero costuming stuff. Currently working on my third Batman cowl, detail painting a Hasbro BMF Millennium Falcon (redundant I know), and working on a CG Millennium Falcon just for fun based on a lot of reference I've seen on here. Some of my past projects can be seen on my instagram: http://instagram.com/jaysethan Looking forward to participating more!

Hello all. My name is Jim. I'm a great admirer of props from the original Star Trek series and I've thoroughly enjoyed reading through the threads here over the years. Finally decided I should join. Looking forward to participating in conversations. Happy and safe holidays to everyone.

For my avatar I was going to use a red comm panel but then I saw the obnoxious picture of Clint Howard as Balok and I couldn't resist.

Hi,

My name is Raymond. I've always had a fascination of star wars. First time reader here and pretty interested in making my own costume this year. The only costume I have purchased is Darth Nihilus, as a test to see how goes. Now I want to evolve to making a costume at my house thats decently at budget. I joined because I'm curious on what chemicals or materials are used to make these types of great costumes.

Hi people :)

My name is ILL GREEN, an independent Hip Hop artist on my own label http://www.illgreen.bandcamp.com

I am looking to produce my own line of designer toys and garage kits and found this place when looking up techniques on slush casting. Everything I searched out for, led me here so I had to join :D

I am happy to be here with other resin maniacs and hope to share and receive knowledge. My techniques are low budget with golden results.

Thank you for reading.

Hi, I'm Casey. I'm new here and new to these kind of killer costumes. I saw a Star Lord helmet in my FB wall and I wanted to see about getting one. There's a hero's foundation here that helps out sick kids I wanted to get involved in and I thought about doing a Star Lord costume. I didn't think my Punnisher costume was a good one for kids and I already have a walk-man from the 80' LOL

Hey all.

My own costume for Halloween. Well I didnt get it figured out in

Hi there, my name is Adrienne and I'm building a Boushh, my first major costume. Happy to be here.

Hello everyone

My name is Ian, I'm from southern New Hampshire. Found this site while doing Google searches on various costumes I want to make. Over the past few months my wife and I have been trying to figure out what we individually want to create.

I have, for as long as I can remember been a star war/comic book nut. It wasn't until a few years ago when I attended my first comic con that I realized I wanted to get into making my own costumes.

Currently I'm working on a corvo costume from dishonored. In the future I'd like to do Darth Revan.

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome and for the amazing posts. Such awesome stuff going on here.

Hi All,

I'm a walkman collector, and I joined here while realizing that other people was trying to make replicas of the popular "Awesome Mix 1" tape seen in Guardians of the Galaxy.
I went too fast and post something before reading the rules... So here I am presenting myself.

Cheers,

Hugo
