Hi all I'm Tony I started by collecting doctor who items then started getting into props and masks. As items I was after became rare/ hard to get hold of or just too expensive I started getting into making them myself. But found I also enjoy the process of the research and thinking behind the original prop makers.
I have displayed my items at some sci-fi shows and used that to raise money for children's charities. I have branched away from doctor who with some other sci-fi shows and comics for my collection but my heart will always be in the world of doctor who.
Everyone is welcome to view my items and let me know what they think. Always good to hear from other enthusiasts.

Hello everyone. My name is Tonya Winter and I have a love in my heart for costumes, I generally pay more attention to the costumes in a film than anything else. Over the years I have assisted others in replicating movie and TV costumes but I have never taken the time to make something for myself. I suppose I could say something here about the cobbler and shoes... however let's skip that and just say that I have promised myself that I will budget time for personal projects. So far all I've done is lurk here and daydream.

I have a degree in apparel design and manufacturing and I run my own clothing company. However I want to make it clear that I am *not* here to offer to make costumes for sale. I would love to help with whatever information I may have, for sewing or patterning techniques, or fabric sourcing info. In short, I am here to be inspired and learn new things & hopefully to be helpful and reveal any secrets that I may possess.

hi! i'm bianca. a friend introduced me to this forum today. i'm not an especially crafty person and certainly nowhere near a prop maker. i hope to change that with the help of this forum. but i am a cosplayer and have been for about 2 years now--though i have been interested in cosplay for much longer than i have been doing it. so far i have 3 cosplays and another on the way, all from the legend of zelda. i look forward to exploring and posting here!

Hey,

I am a brand new member and new to prop building but loving every minute of it so far.
Iam 30 and hail from the land down under and just completed my first prop build of a 'stunt' Ghostbusters trap, MDF is my chosen medium at this stage being a rookie but I am quite pleased with how it turned out, but it's safe to say i am hooked and ready for the next project..so maybe jumping into the deep end but just started prepping my dream project like so many others, a proton pack... it's both exciting and terrifying at the same time haha, I also have a few side projects in mind, Starlords Blasters from the new guardians flick (have already made his one from the current run in the comic books), Hellboys 'Good Samaritan' would also like to have a crack at a hoverboard..because...it's a hoverboard.

My main interests are include pretty much anything sci-fi and comic book related, also punk/ska and hardcore music
