Hello all! I've been interested in building an R/C astromech droid from Star Wars. Unsure which one. Ive seen some great builds just browsing on these forums, decided to join to get some further help. I might even make some halloween/convention costumes aswell!

i became a member because i wanted to try an Iron man Costume

Dad trying to keep his daughter happy...

My daughter has a keen interest in anime ('specially Japanese) and 2013 will be her 3rd Manifest (Melbourne Anime Festival (Australia). Hi aprilstorm...you better be there ). For the past couple of years I have gone as 'Anonymous', her chaperone.

Last year she wanted to go as 'Oliver' (Vocaloids), so I learned to drive a sewing machine and made her an 'Oliver' costume. All went well http://i1063.photobucket.com/albums/t517/cynicmonster/121104-205941.jpg.

She wants to go as a Little Sister in 2013. Every Little Sister has a Big Daddy (as I found out).

I need to build a Big Daddy costume...

I'm currently looking at buying myself a replicated costume of Batman from the Dark Knight series, as I have absolutely 0 fashion or artistic sense and would rather pay for the work of a great professional.
