Hello everyone!

I just discovered the RPF, and am looking forward to thoroughly exploring this site and it's resources

I'm a costumer and multi-discipline artist, and am slowing adding new techniques to my skill set. Sculpting, molding/casting, and leather work are my current areas of interest, so I'm looking forward to soaking in as much info as I can.

Hi All.. I've been looking at this site for a couple of years now. I'm very envious of all your incredible talents and patience. Although a model builder since childhood I have never built anything like the costumes I see here. I have wanted Clonetrooper armor for years, and I would really love an Iron Man suit mkVI or VII.. When I am able to.. I would love to pay someone to make a suit for me, or if they are nearby.. help me make one of my own. I lack the technical knowledge to produce this on my own. Well I hope I can get to know some of you over time and again, your talents are amazing!

Only background i have in props and costuming is halloween stuff for my son but i LOVE designing and enjoy anything that requires getting messy or messing up....what can i say?! I like perfect and practice gets it... right?

Hi everybody,
My name is Frank. I have been lurking this site for months using the tips from so many of you to build a MK V/VI for my 10 year old. A lot of your suits come out so amazing. I often wonder ....where do you put all the costumes once they are done? I hope to have that problem in the coming years. This really is an awesome hobby to learn.
A little bit about me....I am a 40+ year old man. I have a little bit of painting and drawing experience. My interests are Warcraft, movies with lots of special effects, cooking, and trying to (but failing) learn the guitar. I have a crazy daughter who has given me nothing but joy ever since her birth. Although I do not have the superhero build to make a suit look really good, my daughter does. So I have decided to build my first suit for her and see where it goes from there.

Hello.

My name is Joshua and I stumbled onto this fabulous website while looking for some information on building/crafting cosplay armor. This past August (2012) I went to my first ever con (Dragoncon) and I was so smitten with the amount of people who dress up as their favorite characters I knew I had to be involved. So at 28 I've decided to cave to my inner nerd and learn as much as I can about crafting armor and hopefully meeting and interacting with the artists who frequent this site.

My first cosplay will be X-force Archangel! I'm super excited. Nice to meet you all!

Hey all. My name is Luke and I'm from the UK. I discovered theRPF only about a month ago and since haven't been able to get the idea of making a costume out of my head. Lots of decisions to be made on which one/ones.

Came across this website whilst looking for stuff to augment my Stormtrooper armour. I'm starting to get into the costuming scene, gonna work on a basic Judge Dredd costume for halloween before making it more screen accurate.

There's some cracking stuff on here and I'm looking forward to adding my own contributions once I get the hang of this costuming lark:lol
