Hi there everyone.
I'm here to learn more about costume making and make up from you guys...and girls :lol. I have no professional skills, just bags of enthusiasm . Ideally I'm looking at investing in a good sewing machine and making a credible attempt at a making an outfit for Halloween maybe.....a toe in the water so to speak, and see where that journey takes me. I feel like a very small fish in a very big pond, so please humour me along the way

I´m starting to make 1:1 stuffs. Normaly I make 30 to 120 mm miniatures and some WWII tanks and vehicles.

Hi all!! I was interested in making a Tron Legacy costume and came across this site with TONS of information on what people have done. It's so helpful to see the techniques and all the hard work that people have put into their costumes. I found it so helpful that I decided to join and become a member of this awesome community. Thanks for all your help!! I'll post pictures of my progress and the final result of the costume when I'm done!

I found this forum when looking for a Star Trek TOS Klingon Sash insignia. It appears there are many talented people here and I'm eager to learn from you all. I now will work toward my required 20 posts so I can post in the Junkyard and hopefully arrange to get one of those awesome props.

Hey all!

Longtime lurker here and all that, always drooling the amazing props and work that come out of this great community. Decided it was time to actually make an account and try to learn a thing or two. Never done ANY prop making, or even modifications before.. but I'm going to try and work my way towards that.

Massive Star Trek, Star Wars, general Sci-Fi geek.. along with Lord of the Rings, Dragonlance, general fantasy.. oh and of course anime. If it's geeky, I probably like it.

Currently obsessed with making/buying some Star Trek phasers (preferably TOS) that are modified with visible green lasers. Tempted to try myself.. but like I said, noooo knowledge.

Hello guys, I´m pretty new in this business of the prop replicas, so my post is for asking for a favor, I need an oppinion, I resently finished a projet for a Green Lantern Power Battery (classic comic book inspired), but I´m not complety sastified with the results. Hey all!

I'm Breif (aka B Ranted!) - originally from Éire but now based in Manchester, UK. I'm a big fan of anything Halloween related (as in the holiday - but the movie's great too!) and anything with that 'ye olde worlde' feel about it.

I'm a bit of a newbie propologist, having mostly done small scale paper mache pieces for personal projects for costume parties and Halloween, etc. I came upon this site while researching props for my latest project based on the Uncharted game series, and was well impressed by some of the work I found on here!

I'm looking forward to exploring more forums to see what other great works are on here by all you talented peeps!

I'm Tommie.

My regular day-gig is composing for documentary film. My partner and I @
OBT - Off the Beaten Trax have done lots of work for Discovery, PBS and WGBH who produces both NOVA and Frontline.
Just jumped back into building via the Disney Nautilus as I could not find
a prebuilt and decided to do a Scott Brodeeen 31." Best thing I've done in many years! Am about to start my third build.
Will be heading over to the Seview later this year but I think I'm a certified submariner at this point.
Am happy to be with you and my other group @ www.nautliussubmarine.com.

I am Surge, from the UK. Hopefully starting at The Oxford Aviation Academy soon to get my ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot Licence) to become a First Officer! yikes I even get scared thinking about that. What is pretty cool is I will be spending 20 weeks training in Phoenix Goodyear Airport in Arizona... so if anybody from there has any ideas on what to do while I am there please let me know! we could even go for a beer if anybody is interested :cool

I am massive geek but a creative one at that; I do a lot of sculpting, Graphic Illustration, Screen Printing & Photography..

I am massive Sci-Fi/Fantasy fan in any format it can throw at me lol.
