greetings i am new to the cosplay community and i am interested in finding any helpful threads to assist me in creating my own White Ranger costume for cons and other events. I look forward to getting to know many of you. Its Morphin Time!!!

Hello there!

I'm Dan from the UK. I'm a big comic book and movie fan and enjoy dressing up for Halloween and parties. Sometimes I use prosthetics, sometimes not. I've dressed up as Zombies, Teen Wolf and the Joker a number of times and really enjoyed it and people seemed to like the effort I made. I'm a bit of a perfectionist and try to get things as accurate as possible.

I joined a while ago but I've just been lurking and reading threads. I found this site while researching how to make a Spider-Man costume and this place has certainly proved useful. Everyone seems really friendly and supportive of people attempting their own builds and costumes. I hope to continue to learn more and get to know you guys better.

Hi gang I'm Shelli. Going to my first con in San Francisco next January for the TWD. Saw all the great costume ideas and got hooked. From California and dressing as Rick and love all the idea's here.

Hey everyone, been lurking for a while and decided to finally create an account. Astounded by the work and knowledge of all of the people on here and look forward to contributing in whatever way I can.

Hey makers. I just joined the community after lurking for a while now. I've been interested in making my own props and costumes for a long time now and I am ready to take the plunge into the world of making. I hope I can learn more from this great community and I hope I can give some insights that can prove valuable others.

Cheers!

Hello,

My name is Jason and I've been referred to this board from the Sideshow Freaks message board. I am primarily a 1/6 figure collector, but because of two comic cons coming to my neck of the woods in Wisconsin over the next 6 months, I am putting together a ghostbusters uniform. I was hoping i could get some info from this site and its members.

Thanks in advance and I hope to be able to contribute in the future.

Jason

Hi Everyone.

My name is Danielle. I have been lurking around the site taking in the amazing work for a while. I am a total noob to costumes and cosplay. I hope I can learn from the amazing work done by the members of this community. I am going to my first Con in New York this October. I am hoping that someday I am able to contribute. Thank you!

Hello, my name is Marek. I'm from Poland, I stumbled upon this site when looking for tips and tricks for plastic modelling. I'm new to scale modelling, having built whole 2 kits in my life. I saw some incredibly great modelling work here, out of the box and scratchbuilt alike. So... yeah, I'm here i guess. It's gonna be fun right? :)
Pozdrawiam!

Hi, I'm DynosaurToddler. Very new to cosplay but I love it. I've only done two builds, BMO from Aadventure Time and Dr. Mundo from League of Legends iPhone 03-17-14 139.JPG

Hey everyone!

I'm Trevor. A 20yo uni student and artist from the Central Coast, Australia. I love the whole Sci-Fi genre (with a few exceptions I guess) and I'm a PotC fanatic! Recently I've been to a few places online to do with replica making and the whole "hands-on" scene, and I've finally decided to join RPF. I already love the amount of resources and the fact that everything here is a collaboration between so many people is just astounding!

Also, I'm really passionate about cosplay and I'm working on the Nanosuit from Crysis 2 for the EB Expo 2015 and hopefully I can get it over to Comic Con next year!

I heard about this site through a friend (although I don't know her username), and thought I would check things out. The amount of expertise & helpful detail provided here is amazing, and I hope to contribute more soon as I try out my hand at costuming & prop making.

Hey everyone! Joined up to ask some questions about making a replica Phaser from Star Trek; I'd love to see some CAD drawings (or make some) that can be 3D printed in multiple parts to make a close to accurate prop.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Hello!

Not really sure what to say, except that I found the site searching for prop tutorials. Seems interesting, and I hope to learn a lot here!

Hello! My name is April and I found this website while looking at people working on cosplay for Guardians of the Galaxy characters! I’m very new to all of this cosplaying and prop making so hopefully I don’t do too horrible :)

Hey! My name is John and i found this site as a frequent reference doing searches for any props or newer replica work from movies etc. I'm absolutely worthless at building or crafting most anything on my own, and im mainly here to ogle and tell you guys how amazing you all are for being able to do what you do. Most of my prop collections are from star wars related things and hopefully I'll be able to get some pictures up soon. Again, you guys are incredible. Hope to meet a few of you and look forward to being a more active member on the site.

Hi, my name's Rich, joined the forum after a healthy amount of lurking. I'm mainly here to soak up tips and tricks, mostly to do with painting and weathering as I've just started messing about with modding nerfs and whatever plastic toys I can get my hands on. However I am finding myself increasingly distracted by all of the utterly bonkers projects you lot are working on and can only applaud your glorious insanity. I'm definitely nowhere near that level of technical and artistic skill, but I did once make an e11 blaster out of a kitchen roll tube that fooled the drunk people at a star wars themed show my band played (I was man- Leia) so I suppose that's a start. There may be a picture somewhere. Of the gun, not of me in drag. Although...

Hi, name's Matt and I found the forum by listening to Adam Savage talk about it in his Still Untitled podcasts. Mostly I'm just here to lurk and look, but I may find some information that someone was looking for (I'm a frustrated librarian at heart, even though I work in web design) and I'll be happy to post it.
