New McFly jean jacket replica!

These have been around for a long time are are not expensive. The only issue is that they have a single pin back, where the one on screen had a brooch back. You would have to secure it from spinning over or add another pin to the back.

It's not too complicated to make, This is what I did for mine :)

Concerning the jacket of Headgoonie, yes they upgraded it, the colours are a bit more correct, the sleeves are longer (more European fit) and the drawings inside are a bit more sketchy like it can be seen on the teen beat magazine. PM me for pictures, I don't want to release them before Headgoonie does.

Are the pictures on their FB of the old jacket then? I'd be interested to see the new stuff. PM sent.

I think Indy's jacket is a little too grey. It could just be the lighting, but the screen used jacket had a bluish hue to it in most scenes. I really think that the hot toys denim jacket got the color right.

Indy Magnoli, is there any progress on your denim jacket? The Head Goonie one is alright, but it is too blue and the inside is dark blue for some reason instead of the grayish blue the outside is.

Ok, so here are three different color combinations using different denims we've sourced:

Jacket #2:

Jacket #3:

I really like the way Jacket #2 came out... but thought it might look a little better with the lighter grey from Jacket #3. What do you think?

I agree. The design of two with the light grayish blue body but with number two's blue denim. 2 also has correct brass buttons. 3's main body does have a slight blue color right? Hard to tell because of lighting. But one thing that is off to me about the jacket is the size and placement of the buttons. They're too small and too far away from the edge of the jacket. This is a good picture showing the size And placement of the buttons.

Here is a jacket I was working on last year, but scrapped. Everything is from real Guess jackets. The main body of the jacket in the picture looks completely grey, but in real life it has a blue hue. The pockets are a slightly different shade. The indigo in between the fabric close up is very dark. Almost black while the jacket is lighter. And you can see where the original pocket was removes that there is a dark blue underneath.

Also here is a close up on the paisley liner. A small green outline with blue in the center and a small teardrop of white inside the blue.

@Indy Magnoli, I highly suggest you look at this link. Head Goonie made a pretty decent inside liner. Not completely spot on, but pretty damn close. You can also see in their pictures of the screen used jacket that the stitches from when the jacket pieces were sewn together are visible. The same stitches on the outside. Their paisley is decent too, but the green border is too thin.

This is their jacket right now.
