New Hunter Reporting for Duty........Sir. Update pg 11.

I forgot about that :)

Yeah, do the paintjob on everything before you put in the resin fangs. It'll save a lot of trouble in the long run. ;)

Hi Guy's,

Yea I know I should paint it before I made it but I wanted to make shure the jowels movement worked before I primed it and once they where on well I just kept going lol.

Adding deatails.

Well the Pred I am desighning is a mixture of most preds we have already seen but yet still unique so I have decided to make this hunters head a little more interesting. I guess I'm gonna try and make a variation of P1 and Wolf i.e something classic yet new etc.

Here is a compound called Floam, I was intreduced to this when my nephew bought some and decided to add it to his toy cars. Its very sticky but once dry its rock hard. I knew if I added some to a mask in key parts so the maks was still flexible it would stick a treat and give off more interesting detail.

I added some to my mask to make it more interesting on top. Once dry I gave it a clear coat of PVA glue to help protect it in the long run.

This stuff is great for adding details and I plan on using it to detail my body suit once it arrives.

BTW. You can get a tub of Floam from any good toy shop but I get mine from Toys are us, Usualy £3 a tub.

If Using this in future remember its very sticky and goes hard quite quickley. Plan to use it all at once if Possible, Add to vital parts, clean hands, add more etc. Once it starts to harden it gets less sticky so you can push and pull to make your detail etc. Hope this helps.

Dreadlocks.

O.K now the head it getting more interesting its time to make a update on the dreads.

1st off the dreads I had where all bad pull's so I have had to use no nails glue to fill in the holes etc. I have also been very buisy cutting all the kid toy golf clubs to shape and adding them to the dreads.

Here is a pic.

You can now tell the basics are there now all I need to do is add details to the rings then spray black for a undercoat.

I'm really interested in knowing how you did the jaw/mandibles and how your going to get them to move. i would love to see more pictures on how its rigged if you don't mind

Hey Frank thing!
That's looking great.

Thanks Guy's,

Brandon: I know what you mean mate, Imagine how I felt adding the stuff not shure if it would even take to the mask.... Luckly I took a chance and it paid off. :( I'll see what I can do about the moving jowels for you.

Larry: Good to hear from you again mate. PM Coming your way.

Lord: Thank mate.

O.K been experimenting today with painting a underskin. I'm glad to say that Floam Idea realy did work wonders for me, Its hardend the mask and creates loads of space for cool detail to be gained.

Here is two pics of the preds underskin (Details Still to be worked).
