Well, suddenly Amazon has Vader and Yoda in stock with Prime shipping AND the $25 promotion is still going on:

Did they say you were put on a list? My email just said they were cancelling my (pre-)order... and of course the email comes after customer support is closed for the weekend.
No, I got the same as you. I'm just saying I would stay on a list if they had one.
I wonder if they heard something about a delay or if their system just timed out because stock hasn't hit yet? Sounds like we'll have to wait till Monday to get any real info.

Go for it! I've been on a holy mission since '99 to find a Graflex for sale from a random, unsuspecting flea market vendor. Since that hasn't happened yet, this is the first time I've I've had the money while a FX saber is on the market. It doesn't matter who sells it, I'm going to buy one this time. But I'm also cheap, so a deal's a deal.
Well, I just got off the phone with a rep from Calendars.com. He said they filled all the pre-orders they could, but Hasbro sent less than they ordered and won't let them reserve more at this time. They cancelled the rest of the pre-orders since nobody knows when they can order more.
I'm still curious if they actually did ship any out, but we should start seeing photos and videos soon if they're telling the truth. As far as I can tell, nobody's leaked anything about the Luke saber.
FWIW, he did put a note on my account to honor the discount code if/when they do come back into stock.
Can't wait to hear how your nuisancing goes.

Unfortunately the same as yours. The story he told me was they oversold the pre-orders as well which, given they are not supposed to ship until Oct. at the earliest, I think is a bunch of bull. I don't doubt they will receive fewer units than they anticipated, but I personally believe they are flushing the orders to offer again at a higher price point when they do receive what they can get. They guy did say that if they became available to reference the order and they will honor the pre-order price and 25% off discount but he did point out that I would have to see it "on their website". I read that as they will put whatever they get on their physical location shelves at a higher price.
It appears you can "pre-order" from Toywiz.com for $199 right now so it may be that Hasbro reneged on their $150 original price:

Yeah, I don't know what's going on there. They also show the Yoda for $129 and the Kylo Ren for $229 (with an October release date). I can drive 10 minutes from here and grab a Kylo at Walmart for the standard price and Amazon has had Vader and Yoda in stock for a couple weeks. Toywiz is acting like a reseller.

ToyWiz is notorious for this behavior. I would avoid them. They even jack up prices on pre-orders which almost anyone will agree is a terrible practice. BigBadToyStore has the entire wave available for pre-order as a set. I would just wait till they're more readily available through them, Entertainment Earth, or Amazon.
No doubt. I think this really highlights how full of crap these sites are with their estimates. Folks who are clinging to every little hint are learning the hard way that everybody's just making these dates up. Maybe Hasbro told vendors some dates behind the scenes, but I think it's weird that we haven't seen any leaked Luke images yet. I'm sure that has nothing to do with the eventual availability, just that it isn't coming out in the next couple days.
I mean I, like most people, was convinced that these were all coming out on Force Friday. My Target didn't do the midnight thing, but I was there at 8 am with my coupon ready to go.
