New Green Hornet Trailer just released

Charlie's Angels
Starsky and Hutch
The Dukes of Hazard
Land of the Lost
Lost In Space (I liked it though)
Josie and the Pussycats
McHales Navy
The Avengers
Wild Wild West

Funny, I enjoyed all of those movies. Were they academy award winners. No, but then they never would be.

Some of you have simply lost the ability to just enjoy a "movie". Not everything is going to be a "film".

Now unclench those sphincters and try to enjoy it.

Well, as long as we're using rectal imagery, why don't you blow it out your ass?

Some of you will enjoy ANYTHING. Maybe that just means you have the ability to turn your brain off more easily than the rest of us. Or maybe you don't have one to turn off in the first place.

Maybe you never had the ability to distinguish between a good film and a bad film, and simply lump films into two categories: "Shakespeare/Oscar movie" and "everything else."

See, Mic? I can be blunt and abrasive, too. But it doesn't really get us anywhere when we start throwing around "blunt" (translation: impolite) generalizations of people. You dig those movies? Hey, great! You're a lucky guy, because Hollywood's sure making more of them for you than they are for me.

But that doesn't actually make either of our tastes in movies objectively "better." Nor does it mean either of us is "better able to enjoy fun." I've got my standards, and you've got yours. So, let's try to be civil while we discuss what our rather subjective tastes may be, shall we?

Just like the 1989 Batman, they're using a comedian, updating the car, and hoping for the best. But Keaton let go of the goofiness. Rogan still wants it.

I love the separating car. I always wondered about the 'old brick wall in the alley' thing. What if a truck parked in the way?

Regardless of his box office gross, I think that this character's journey would be ideal to see if audiences can accept him in a more serious role. Obviously Britt is going to start in a position of complete irresponsibility and the story will necessitate his rising to the challenge.

Starting with a role close to what he is used to playing and then fading into prominence could be the way to go. From the interviews, it sounds as though the Britt/Kato relationship (not to mention the death of his father) will help to form him as a legitimate "hero" and not just an inept goofball.

Could be wrong. We'll see.

Why do they have to make the Green Hornet a complete "doofus" and Kato the Man In Charge? A 360 degree opposite of the TV series.

I would figure that the movie would be a serious flick not a comedy. I'm a bit disappointed. Seth Rogan could have taken the role in a serious form rather his typical ROM COM format!

Wouldn't 360 degrees be the same?
Now 180 would be opposite, right?

Of course Rogan can do serious, did any of you see Observe and Report? That movie wasn't funny at all. Looking back it felt more like a disturbing art film than a comedy. But then, Rogan was at the screening I saw it at and the walk out of the theater past him was very awkward....

If I didn't HATE HATE HATE Seth Rogan so much I might have went to see this. Anyone but Seth - ANYONE. And casting on Seth's BO record is just plain silly. His record has more to do with Apatow, not Seth Rogen.

Anyone but Seth - ANYONE.

Just saw the trailer on ET.

Totally have to agree with this. Anyone but Seth. :sick

I really want to see this as all the action, Black Beauty, and Kato looks awesome (umm... could do without Cameron Diaz, but oh well)...

But Rogan?

Truly kills it for me.

Who knows? Maybe he'll pull a Keaton and be great in the role- but from what I see, it seems he's hanging on to his comedic roots as has already been mentioned.

I've been a fan of the radio show, the tv series and some of the comics.
This movie isn't how I'd do it but I'd be willing to watch it with an open mind.
