New fallout DLC out today

BTW, I found... (armor spoiler)

the hazmat suit and helmet that look like the ones the Ghost People wear in Dead Money. Cool outfit, but what am I going to do with something with poison protection afterI've already played Dead Money?!?! The one part where you'd need it you can't use it. :confused

Maybe it will be needed for some other reason/time. I'd be afraid to use it there given what's been seen before.

So, I got done with the main storyline yesterday. That was fun. I wanna get done with the rest of the quests in there, and really explore. I like that stealth suit stuff, too bad my sneak is so low, had to waste a couple levels on it to do those tests for the upgrade. I don't like it auto-stimpaking, before I knew it, I was out of packs.

I went with the peaceful solution between them all. Talking to my brain was fun, especially the response to me asking my brain: "Why are you such a d**k".

i agree this DLC actually felt more like the original 2 fallout games sense of humor wise as there was always silly stuff going on without that dumb wildwastelands perk having to be taken.

I never had a chance to try that perk, my friend did and said it was a waste(no pun intended). There can be some comedy in the oddest places. He told me of his one character which he gave low intellegence, had a conversation with that former BoS initiate, in which she asked if he knew who the BoS were. His character response with Intel was "I heard that they shoot laserbeams from their eyes!"

Yeah doing the low IQ has it's own laughs. The wild wasteland is hit or miss, i had to look half the references up online as they're vague. I still like when they were just normal random encounters you stumbled across in the original games and even fallout tactics. I'm actually surprised they never had a Planet of the apes one in any of the games, you'd think an underground area with ghouls worshiping a nuke would be a natural.

I got a few more things done in OWB. I just noticed something...they don't have a personality upgrade for the toaster! They give you upgrades for the light switches but not the toaster!?! Oh, and the bot who keeps calling me Teddy Bear, is there a mission with her? It asks for a perception check, but I am at 4/8...

That LAER rifle is a beast, especially Elijah's LAER. I just need to find more MF Cells.

I've been playing through so i can do the DLC again and have been working my way up from the bottom of the map to the top. I haven't even gotten to the main quest and i'm nearly level 30. I am taking a break as it was getting tedious so i'm playing phantasy star 8 bit. lol it's not so much a quest as it's you helping her with her infatuation with humans. she's apparently been creepy even before she was a brain in a jar.

This is why PC gaming is better than X-Stations and Playboxes. I wanted a Nerf Maverick in Fallout, so I made one. And a hat and backpack.

Nerf Maverick for Fallout New Vegas - YouTube

:lol That's awesome!

BTW, WTH is Lonesome Road?!?! "...due to circumstance beyond our control..." So did someone kill the one person on the planet that could upload the already finished DLC to the Internet?

Knowing bethesda? that's probably exactly what happened. Maybe they suddenly lost the rights to fallout and interplay got them back. Well i can dream anyhow lol.

Actually it's because some guessed the super secret ending and they had to change it. You see... It turns out that the Lone Wanderer is a replicant. And somehow your father.

I was guessing the main character was related to the original vault dweller and it all went back to the original game somehow. (not really but it would be interesting).

There's no new content after "Lonesome Road" that has had any announcement. The two packages after LR will just be the opportunity to buy the special pre-order packages that you could have gotten from the various game stores. Like the 'tribal pack' that gives your starter character a spear and some tribal armor.
