In an interview with one of the producers, it seems that this season we'll be getting more of that Victorian trio...including Strax.
If he's written as well as he was here, I'd be all over that.
Anyone have a canon answer for how old he was in 'An Unearthly Child'?
Of course I can't find the source:angry...but I read somewhere last week that he'd been alone for about 300 years since Amy & Rory. It really jumped out in the episode that he said something about saving the universe for over 1000 years. If what I read was true, then he'd be closer to 2000.

I like this one the best:
The thing I keep banging on about is that he doesn't know what age he is. He's lying. How could he know, unless he's marking it on a wall? He could be 8,000 years old, he could be a million. He has no clue. The calendar will give him no clues.Steven Moffat, SFX, May 2010
That said the TARDIS would know how long it's been travelling. If he wanted to find out how old he was all he would have to know is his age when he stole it.
You actually asked ME that? Sheesh! :love

I think they've agreed to disagree about Who stole Whom :lol
Not really, that was covered in dialog in The Doctor's Wife. The Tardis doesn't exactly understand time as we perceive it or even as the Doctor perceives it. Asking her would give you the same sort of direct and perfectly clear answer any man would get when asking a woman something very important...:love
