I, for one, do NOT wan to know his name. Nor do I want to know his true history. I like the mystery of those things, I love the enigmatic references to events in the past. Like the hints about the HoL storyline in the 7th Doctor's run. Those were awesome because they never gave any concrete info, just suggestive hints that The Doctor was far more than he let on.

For me it's one of the hallmarks of the show.

The more we reveal about the Doctor the less special he becomes I think. Still, I think this season will end with him telling River his name. (We won't hear it though)
