Limited Run NEW DESIGN Control Box PCB, LEDs & Switch for LS6 | Accepting Payments & Shipping

Awesome! Are you still also doing the neopixel connections?

Yes, I'll still be making these. I went to do some initial measurements the other day and when I swapped to the blade emitter it became stuck before I could get it all the way threaded. I eventually got things right again but had to stop work. I have some travel coming up so it will probably be next week before I can have them made and ready. As soon as I get the designs done I'll share them with you.

Thanks everyone who has paid thus far. I have updated the main post with that information. I'll ship out another batch of orders on Monday. Thanks again!

Just wondering: could this board be used to just light up the LEDs separately?

Push right button green lights up
Push left button red lights up

That's all I'd want it to do (no blade, SNDFX etc)

Just to provide some information for those who have their kits and want to get started... The LEDs have a forward voltage of 3.0 - 3.2V. Please be sure to look for the marking in the corner to determine cathode and anode terminals. Please refer to this image:

SMD LEDs are a pain to solder so if you have never used them before I suggest watching a few videos on YouTube to get some ideas for techniques.

Do you happen to have the size of the triangle LEDs?

I’m looking for something roughly 5.5mm or 6mm

Just curious if these are that size

The cutouts in the box for the LS6 are are using 4.5mm edge lengths on the triangles, and my inserts outer triangle edge lengths are about 4.85mm to keep the insert from falling into the box.

So there are enough pads to do something like this if you were to switch from tactile to latching switches and add a battery. But at this point you might as well just use the stock PCB. You can still use the single piece switch and colored inserts.

Your suggestion, if I understand it correctly, would be to use a perf board, attach a push button/ SPST switch behind each of the black bar and wire them up to each of the LEDs.

Your photos look like you're using SMT LEDs.

I've got your plate & arrows for my Gary Tierce box.

If you could point me in the direction of some PCB SPST switches that would fit in there I'd be most appreciative
