Hey.
Not all the parts. The cabin cockpit and cabin walls, the turret well and the docking ring plate will be only available through Shapeways, at 308 Bits.
The reason is for the tiny details and for the 300!!! pre drilled holes that have the cabin walls for fiber optics lighting. The turret well has 50 pre drilled holes on it.
I was actually going to pose a similar question, with all the new parts you've been churning out! For example, I keep going round and round wondering - should I start trying to scratch a new radar mount and dish, or are those going to be included? I know I'm in for a set, so I'm just trying to figure out where to spend my limited time, energy and skillz scratching, and what would end up being redundant. You know, maybe a post with a definitive list, maybe in the project runs forum, possibly updated as you add stuff, would be a good idea so you don't have to keep answering the exact same question again and again.
He has already made the Gunner window replacement. It's great..and it's much improved over the hasbro ones. (On shapeways now )Sweet, many thanks, FZ6! You know we're all waiting, totally patiently...yep, patient, patient, patient....that's us
And as a side benefit, looks like the kids can finally stop worrying about my constantly eying their Legacy Falcon radar![]()
One part I do have a question about - since you're doing both cannons and yolks, any chance you guys could include your replacement for the lower window where the gun is molded on the toy?

I've just finished the Samster27 suggestion: the docking ring plates for the Hasbro.

The idea is to cut the inner part of the Hasbro docking rings and put this one. It has 62.8 mm diameter.
It's a perfect replica of the 32 inch Falcon docking ring. :cool

I am borrowing this pic from Spacebob. I hope that is okay.
While were at it Tony looking at all the hard work Jaitea has done and really not wanting to do any of that myself can you just make this entire back section with the coorect engine vents, pipes, flaps, etc??? Then we can just cut it out on the old and put the entire new piece in.

Tony you will probably need to do the underside matching area as well that has the arms and flaps, etc. otherwise it won't match the top.![]()
I sure hope these are being cast as well because I just saw them on Shapeways page and.....ouch.
Okay I know we are getting a little carried away here but what the hell,
Tony why don't you make replacement pieces for all the recessed hole part things. The 7 on top and 6 on the bottom. Just make sure they are a hair wider so they have the overhang on the few that have that on the 32". I know some walls were flush and some were recessed a bit.
Then people can buy one or all to upgrade depending on their desire.
Hi Timmy.Yeah, sorry, maybe that could have been more clear - I was asking if they might consider include that SW part in the resin kit.
Yes Junk, it's expensive because is big.
If we cast this part we will get the same result as the Hasbro part, because it's not possible to cast the thin tubes. Maybe we can cast only the part without the tubing, and you add the tubing later.
Just my 2 cents.
I agree with Robiwon...2 conversion kits are coming out for this kit...and just to try and get these pieces in small groups can help a lot of people....because for the top and sides are going to be several pieces...then we still have to consider ...big sections , need to be replaced, for more accuracies....but the bottom....is totally missing so much and we even need accurate landing gear parts as well with bay doors ...bottom ramp door to open and close, etc....So much is going to have to be done....and ...I think there should be small kits to buy...to start with and order other small kit pieces later every month....that could help tremendously with all of us here on the RPF !!!...JMOI'm glad the resin parts will be available as separate parts to the whole kit. I don't think my wallet, or my wife, is going to be able to handle a bigger parts count! I have two grand kids to raise now and money is tight, I'll probably have to pick and choose what I can get.
