Need to make a Spacesuit!

If you can spare $250, you can get an "apollo style" helmet from these guys

Probably overpriced but it's an option.

I like the idea of using the domes posted by Shylaah.

Clear Acrylic Plastic Display Domes.

If you could tilt it forward at about a 45 degree angle, you'd expose the face completely. Wrap the back with a stiff material and then wrap that with a white, gray or metallic fabric. Just add a few technical looking greeblies and an LED lamp or two on the inside of the helmet could be used to show the face nicely. Just don’t blind your actress.

If you're going to accentuate her feminity, I suggest making sure the waist is tight. Basically, form fit it like a dress… it’s not very realistic for a space suit, but it’s more aesthetically pleasing.

Ah yes! Acrylic or polycarbonate domes. Very good. :thumbsup

I made a helmet once with one of those, plus the top dome from an "Umbra" brand waste can, with the top of a contractor's bucket for neckrings. Worked pretty well!

And skintight space suits are not necessarily unrealistic. ;)

Those are Nostrum Costume helmets, and my publishing company sold 'em back in the day, too. OP, if that's what you want, just shoot me a PM; I have an extra one of their early style kicking around you can have for just shipping.

And this right here, folks, is why I'll never leave this board. People helping people.

Bravo, sir!

I see an "ANSA" Space helmet here.

you can also use some great looking robes.
like the Ripley space suit had parts of Tyrell's robe in it.

What search term? This would be cool to have!

I have one of those Mig helmets. They are way cool for the money and a great place to start to make a "space" helmet.

I stripped all the Com gear and air regulator off to give it a "cleaner" look.
A few "nurnies" and some decals will make a reasonable space helmet.
