Need ideas on creating this shape out of wood

It is basically the same shape all the way, i'd end up modifying it to look damaged and then engrave the lines but I have no idea how to even begin making this ship with the tools i have here unless i start with a block of wood and my jig saw. Any ideas?

8 triangle pieces cut and glued together. Fill the 2 halves with auto filler or sawdust and glue before you stick em together, then it'll be solid. Easy?

That's what i was thinking too. The more i think about it the dumber i feel for having made this thread because it's obvious lol.

This would be the fastest way to do it.. just be careful. We've lost enough fingers on the RPF.

Funny you should mention that. i was cutting display plaques this morning and the particle board i'm using caught and kicked back twice. Either the saw doesn't have much oomph to it or i'm very lucky. The first one got a good whack on my thumb, its still numb a bit 3 hours later and is aching and purple, and then into my well padded gut. The second one got my gut but i barely felt it. I've never had that much kick back trouble so i am going to have dad check the blade to see if it's worn or i was just having a really off day.
Needless to say i'm done with power tools for the day in order to avoid pushing my luck lol
