Need help identifying kit part

OK, I'm resurrecting this thread from the dead.....

I finally got my helmet (was waiting months for this....) and am nearing completion of the paint job and weathering. I'm still looking for the right greeblies to attach though, so any help would be great.

Still need to identify this piece for inside the oblong indentation on the side of the helmet (I'm not convinced that it's the pieces from the Midnight Special kit that are shown in the pic):

And I still need to identify the large black square that goes on the left side of the helmet, under the red triangular paint detail, to the left of the text:

Hi there,

The unidentified part looks like one of the the lower cylinders from the old 1/8 Esci BMW R75 motorcycle kit - I think Revell may recently have re-released it in their own box.

Thanks for your help! I've looked at literally EVERY kit scan on StudioScale.com and couldn't see anything that looked right at all.

I found a kit scan of the ESCI 1/9 BMW R75 Wehrmacht Motorcycle eventually, and this engine part looks like the one to me:

Looks like they only used the lower half of it and added other bolt-like greeblies above and below it.

Now, how can I get ahold of this part (or a copy of it)?..... )
