NECA Releasing Prop Portal Gun

What do you guys think? I'm kind of new to the whole "prop replica" world, but I'm trying to build a collection. Do you guys think this is a good way to go? All the ones on Ebay are waaaaaaay expensive and this one seems like it's the same quality as it's still NECA.

If anyone missed out on the NECA 1:1 scale ones, Think geek released a miniature version that comes with a stand and does the same thing the large version does for $60. I bought one and selling my P-Body version on ebay right now since I honestly do not have the room to store or display the larger one.

has anybody purchased one of the newer customize-able versions? I havent seen any reviews or unboxing videos of this one and wondered if it was determined that these are the same quality as the previous versions.
I snagged one on Amazon for $99 but wondered if anyone else already had one and what they think of it.

A buddy of mine got his in from entertainment earth last night. He already has the a limited P-body version and for the price, its just as good. Obviously the stripes aren't painted on like the others, but still a great buy. The only thing that bothered me were the stickers. I very much hope someone makes a decal set or something similar for these. He also has the $50 stand. Pretty much convinced me to get the stand as well, I think its a bit over priced, but the display is really great with it. Shopping for the non limited version now, sadly amazon has the gun listed at 119.99.
Thanks man, I see all kinds of comments of people saying they can't wait, but it's been out a month and the only video of it anywhere is the teaser video from NECA. Hopefully someone will put up a review of it.
I have the new version coming my way and recently got the stand.
The stand is BIG, and while it may or may not be worth the $50 price for some, I am very happy such a product was created to enhance displaying this prop.

Well, the gun is a xmas gift to myself so I will refrain from opening it up right away. Sigh...
The stand is huge, and at first I wasn't happy with it, but after getting my Portal gun on it I think it's fantastic. I like it better than the NECA Portal gun. I think it could use some modifications and reinforcement, but but I'm pretty pleased.
Thanks for the heads up on the $35 stand! A no brainer with the free shipping.

And just as Thinkgeek sold out of them, Amazon's price has dropped to $24.99 - I'm glad I held out buying it at $35!
