Wanted to make these for a while now so I decided to make these my summer project.

I'm using the revised 3D files from Empiricus which are based on the design made by Jon-a-Tron. There is no rush so I'm taking my time with this one.
So here's where I'm at right now. All parts are printed.

Now it's just standing, filling, repeat.

They are so fun. I have the X1C and it is amazing. The prints come out perfect every time. No fiddling with settings. All kinds of bells and whistles for automatic leveling, vibration dampening, extrusion tests with Lidar detection, AI for print failure detection, etc. I love mine.

I ordered this monoculair from AliExpress. It seemed to have the right dimensions for the printed model so I gave it a shot. It was only €8 so no harm done if it's wrong.

I picked it up today and it fits perfectly. The build quality and optics are completely crap compared to my Swarovski binos but who cares.
I removed some of the protective rubber to give it a more snug fit.

I would've opted for a more modern looking screw design...but that's just my two cents;) As long as these make you happy, that's the main thing(y)(y)
