I have to pick up the topside tomorrow. Been picking up the kids after work and heading to the hospital so no time to scratch. If I can show him the parts he can fix it straight away.

The parts list I have shown in the instructions is not representative of the sheets layout as supplied from the plastic manufacturer. They were provide a single file with all the parts and they then arranged/nested the parts themselves to best suit the sheet size.
The parts shown in the instructions are just grouped into areas for ease of reference.
You should not have triple of T1 or T2 though, and T4 should definitely have a hole. I have checked the file I exported for them and everything looks correct this end..
It may pay for you to go through all your parts and just compare them to the parts list in the instructions to confirm what you do and dont have.
I still have some scrap acrylic here. If you need some of the missing pieces cut (rather than doing it by hand), just let me know.
You will need to take the protective sheet off to see if any damage has occured. I thought I might have a few scratched here and there on mine, but the protective layer does a pretty good job, so you may be lucky. If its damage from the router, we will have to let them know to use a higher clearance plane for future copies to avoid the problem.
Really the only area of concern is the windows as everything else is covered and sanded/painted. It'd be sods law if your windows are affected!
OK, uninstalled the annoying media streamer app for my tablet last night and now my PC can't see the damn thing's cam folder. I hate this crap...manufacturers, STOP dicking around with proprietary apps for simple tasks, gawdsake, just let the default OS app handle it if it wants to. Sorry, no pics.

Paul, it sure would, but sods law crops up nine times out of ten, haha. There are quite a few gouges where it looks as if the router was following a proper path, just in the wrong spot.
I think those will have gone through the film, no question in fact, but hopefully not the ones for the windows; we'll see. If it has I'll just cut them out and replace with scrap sheet.

I rearranged my parts to fit my bed, too - and then I printed hardcopies and labeled the parts so I'd know what the hell I was looking at, once they came out of the laser!
Been holding off on cutting mine until the armatures arrive... but I'm sorely tempted to do 'em now!

Thats odd - sounds like something slipped somewhere or it stopped, was moved and restarted!
Simon might have to have a talk with them about it so we can make sure it doesn't re-occur.

I was wondering what stage you were up to Jason!.
Good idea on the printed copies. I stuck little labels to all my pieces so I knew what was what! That was the reason I included the parts drawings in the instructions. Most parts are unique looking enough to be identified, but it's good to know you have everything if you go through and label all the parts ahead of time.
Either it didn't finish running all the cuts, or they were simply missed when they generated the g-code for that sheet :confused
What's the workaround?

J if I had known you were waiting on the armature I could have sent that part out. I'll cut one up this weekend. We had to tab the acrylic for CNC as the table is a vacuum bed. The more surface area you cut out the less suction to hold the sheet in place so you run the risk of the sheet moving during cutting. Wouldn't be a problem on the laser though. Just means a little more clean up for the builder but nothing to worry about. The price difference here was $400 for laser cutting so we went CNC.

You and I just need to cast up the parts, me to finish the cockpit and sort out the files with the plastics guy and were almost there. There's a few parts I haven't id'd as yet , not many but I need to sit down and go through my kits again. I started to go Sprue Blind.( yes it's a condition we all get at some point.) If I can get p/ bucket working I'll post some pix of the parts I need later today.

Ok so this bit in pink. Looks like a wheel rim. Now it's only 5 spoke. Got plenty of six spoke but need this one. May not even be a wheel rim but that's my best guess. Also below a pic of a dodge weapons carrier with the same rim. Now most wc kits have the other rims so I'm buggered.

Could also be a dodge truck. I was hoping the Katyusha . Similar but six spoke dammit.
Jason, yeah; the tabs do make it easy to keep things organised. I'm just popping out what I need when I need it. They file down in about ten seconds.
Paul, the workaround was just for my camera. Oh lord, you're right, I hadn't even noticed slots were missing on the trims. Oh well.
Simon, the resin engines probably won't fit as well if there's much shrinkage, but that should be a pretty minor thing. These guys look great fitted up, pics tonight or tomorrow depending on when I get the rear half of the ship assembled.
Now I know why I was confused when you were telling me about the rim. That's not a rim, it's a centre! :lol Will look through me stash.
