Narcissus Builders Club N Stuff.

The green piece on the far right - is that the damn "pillow part" from the Colonial Movers?

The half tube looking piece on the right, with the flat looking ends.
Top pic, far screen right.

I noticed one of the pieces you are looking for has a smaller piece on it that's also used on the nose. I've no idea what that piece it is, does anyone?

All the main acrylic parts have now been assembled.

Today saw the front top panels fitted as well as the snout.
This just leaves just the "trimming" pieces and side clamps to be added.

There were only a couple of minor changes made during the course of putting the prototype together (simplifying things by removing some pieces that ended up not being required).

From here I can start work on filling and sanding the joints and preparing the body for the styrene layout and primer.

The focus now shifts to Martyn for the engines, Simon for the kit parts and Lee for the decals.

Over to you fellas!

Lee if you have the M21 already then no need to buy2 m16's they share the same "B" sprue. You will need two of each door from that sprue and I've got you covered for the interior.

Yah, get on wiv it, you! :p

Love your work, Paul, that just looks stellar.

Urrgh, 9:30 pm here and I've just knocked off...how can such a tiny bathroom soak up so much time? Working on the lower engine right now, hope to get it sorted tonight.

Nice work Paul.... But we're gonna miss the updates now mate. Suppose I'll have to put mine together now.
Cheers Simon. I'm sure I could take random photos around my workshop for you if you really want? :lol
Any progress on laying out the kit parts so we can sign off on the styrene design?

Thanks Martyn. Looking forward to what you come up with on the engines. It might be worth bringing in your engine(s) to my 3d model to see how it looks before sending it off for printing. What do you think?

Here's the M16 part. Looks a little different. Could be my tired old eyes. Martyn... Any chance of calling by for the centurion sprue tomorrow?

No probs Paul, I'll shoot a dxf your way. Simon yeah - my plumber is coming Monday dead early and I've gotta be ready by then so I'll be ploughing on with that stuff but no worries.

Old version looks like this. I thought my nozzle at least was done but nope, way off - working out better lofts right now. Somehow I used a squared-off rail to rotate the loft on, but it should be rounded the whole circumference. You'll see the difference on my next post.

Wow this project is moving at lightspeed! :)
Amazing build Paul and even better that it went together with few problems.
I'll be ready with the decals fairly soon, kinda holding out that someone will spot something on the underside.

More accurate nozzle. Cripes where'd tonight go?! This should be about good to go to print at least.

Wow... this is great I mean awesome!!! You guys have real set the bar on this build.

What's the best photo up-loader to use these days? I've done some photoshop work on this model myself as I've always wanted it myself. Top 5 on my list actually!

It may be of help. Large file...
